পেঁচাকোলা কমিউনিটিতে কৃষ্ণচূড়া দলের পরিবর্তনের গল্পটা সত্যিই অনুপ্রেরণাদায়ক! কিছুদিন আগের একটি ব্লগে উল্লেখ করেছিলাম আগে যেখানে ছেলেমেয়েরা একসাথে বসে কথা বলার সুযোগ পেত না। পরিবার ও সমাজের মানসিকতা ছিল বেশ রক্ষণশীল। কিন্তু SALT পদ্ধতির কারণে তাদের ভাবনায় পরিবর্তন আসে। তারা বুঝতে পারে, শেখার ক্ষেত্রে লিঙ্গ কোনো বাধা নয় বরং সবাই মিলে আলোচনা ও সহযোগিতার মাধ্যমেই নতুন সম্ভাবনা তৈরি করা যায়। এরপর থেকে তারা মাঝে মাঝে একসাথে গ্রুপ স্টাডির পরিকল্পনা করে, যাতে একে অপরকে সহায়তা করতে পারে এবং শেখার পরিবেশ আরও সুন্দর হয়। কিন্তু এর আগের বিষয়টা ছিল একদম ভিন্ন রকম সেটা হলো তাদের অভিভাবক আগে চিন্তা ভাবনা করত যে ছেলে মেয়েদেরকে স্কুলে ভর্তি করালে প্রাইভেট পড়ানো ছাড়া রেজাল্ট ভালো করা সম্ভব নয় কিন্তু প্রাইভেট পড়ানো সেটাও তাদের সামর্থ্যের বাইরে। সে ক্ষেত্রে তাদের ছেলেমেয়েরা রেজাল্ট খারাপ করলেও বাবা মা মেনে নিত যে প্রাইভেট পড়াতে পারেনি যার ফলে রেজাল্ট ভালো করা সম্ভব হয়নি। কিন্তু বর্তমান সময়ে দেখা যায় কমিউনিটিতে কৃষ্ণচূড়া গ্রুপের সদস্যরা গ্রুপ স্টাডি শুরু করেছে।

তারা এখন নিজেরাই সমাধানের পথে হাঁটছে! গ্রুপ স্টাডির মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা একে অপরকে সহায়তা করছে, এমনকি ছোট শিশুরাও এতে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হচ্ছে। এই উদ্যোগে গৃহশিক্ষকের উপর নির্ভরতা কমে যাচ্ছে এবং শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজেরাই সমস্যা সমাধানের দক্ষতা অর্জন করছে।এতে অভিভাবকরাও খুব খুশি কারণ ছেলেমেয়েরা একসাথে বসে আলোচনা সাপেক্ষে লেখাপড়া করছে।
এটি শুধু শিক্ষার নয়, বরং স্বনির্ভর একটি কমিউনিটি গড়ে তোলার বড় অগ্রগতি।

The story of the change of the Krishnachura group in the Penchakola community is truly inspiring! I mentioned in a blog a few days ago that the children did not get the opportunity to sit and talk together. The mentality of the family and society was quite conservative. But due to the SALT method, their thinking changed. They realized that gender is not a barrier to learning, but new possibilities can be created through discussion and cooperation. Since then, they occasionally plan group studies together, so that they can help each other and the learning environment is better. But before that, the situation was completely different, that is, their parents used to think that if their children were admitted to school, it would not be possible to improve the results without private tuition, but private tuition was also beyond their means. In that case, even if their children did poorly in their results, the parents would accept that they could not get private tuition, which made it impossible to improve the results. But currently, it is seen that the members of the Krishnachura group in the community have started group studies.

They are now walking on the path of solution on their own! Through group study, students are helping each other, even young children are being included. This initiative is reducing the dependence on tutors and students are acquiring problem-solving skills on their own. Parents are also very happy with this because their children are studying together and discussing. This is a big step not only in education, but also in building a self-reliant community.
