The colorful Flash-Job arrives in Brussels!

 

We are a group of people with a common thought; we are fed up of the job-hunting struggle.

Why send a CV to a company if it does not really reveal who I am? Why sit and wait for a reply? Why receive rejection letters with no explanation? Why do I become frustrated? Why do I have to do this alone?

It seems that we are like trapped in a box… Do we need to get out of it? Does it really exist?

The group got together and said… shall we find a different way to look for a job? How can we change the job-hunting process that we have now? For instance, why don’t we invite the companies to come and meet us instead of waiting to be called by them? So we decided to turn things upside-down! With a Flash-Job street performance we want people of the street to participate (first mission). We also want to invite the companies we are interested in, to come to the performance and get to know us (second mission).

Be careful! Any day at any time if you do not pay enough attention when you walk around Brussels, you may be suddenly trapped in a box with a whole other bunch of people. You will try to get out, but you will find it impossible…unless someone shows you that the box does not exist!

It is the 20^th of July around 2 p.m at La Grand-Place in Brussels; a small Rubik’s cube lays on the ground. How can we solve it? We invite the people who pass by to do it with us. Meanwhile we ate been trapped in an invisible box.  It is impossible to get out, until… a little boy/girl crosses the scene and cries out - What are you all doing? There is no such box! The box is no longer there for any of us, and we follow the little boy full happiness. After this, people can join us to share the experience while having a drink.

This is a story to follow! Realising that the box doesn't exist, will give us many opportunities and will allow us to open doors we didn't thought before to open!
