২ সপ্তাহ আগে ব্যাসপুর হিজলী পাড়াতে আমরা গ্রুপ সল্ট করেছি। দলের মধ্যে অধিকাংশের সমস্যাটি ছিল সেখানে দক্ষ শিক্ষকের অভাব। ছেলেমেয়েরা বিভিন্ন ভাবে পড়ালেখা থেকে পিছিয়ে পড়ছে। যেহেতু স্কুলে ক্লাসে যা পড়ছে তার সাথেও আলাদা করে বাসায় পড়ার জন্য কিছু গাইডেন্সের দরকার হয়। গ্রুপ সল্ট করার পর এই সমস্যা সমাধানে তাদের মধ্য থেকে বিভিন্ন উপায় বের হয়ে আসে। এক সময় তাদের মধ্য থেকে ৯ম শ্রেনীর একজন মেয়ে বলেন, তার অবসর সময়ে তিনি বাচ্চাদের পড়াবেন। এছাড়া এক মা বলেন তাদের খেলার সামগ্রী কিনে দিবেন যাতে তারা খেলাধুলা করে। আর একজন মা বলেন তার বাসায় একটি ঘর ফাঁকা আছে যেখানে ছেলেমেয়েরা একসাথে লেখাপড়া করতে পারে। এর বিনিময়ে শিক্ষিকা (যে মেয়েটি পড়াতে আগ্রহী হয়েছে) তারা সবাই মিলে শিক্ষা সামগ্রিক ক্রয় করার জন্য খরচ দিবেন। এছাড়াও খেলার সামগ্রী বিশেষ করে লুডু, ক্রাম বোর্ড, ব্যাট বল ইত্যাদি ক্রয় করার জন্য ও তারা চাঁদা তুলবেন সবাই মিলে। তারা সবাই মিলে ছেলেমেয়েদের শারীরিক ও মানসিক বিকাশে কাজ করবেন। সেদিন আমরা চলে এলে পরে একদিন আমরা আবার খোঁজ নিয়ে দেখি যে তারা নিজ উদ্যোগে বিভিন্ন কাজ হাতে নিয়েছেন বিশেষ করে মেয়েটি তাদেরকে লেখাপড়া করান পাশাপাশি এক গার্জিয়ান বল কিনে দিয়েছেন সেই বলটা নিয়ে ছেলেমেয়েরা খেলাধুলা করেন। আর এক মা লুডু নিয়ে তাদেরকে সময় দেন। আমরা সেটি স্বচোখে দেখে খুবই আনন্দিত। তাদের মধ্যে যে এত শক্তি রয়েছে তারা নিজেদের সমস্যা নিজেরাই সমাধানের জন্য এত অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছে এটি দেখে আমরাও বিমোহিত। এখন মাঝেমধ্যে আমরা গিয়েও তাদের সাথে সময় কাটাই এতে আমাদেরও খুব ভালো লাগে। বিশেষ করে ছেলেমেয়েরা লেখাপড়ার মনোযোগি থাকলে এবং খেলাধুলায় থাকলে সমাজের বিভিন্ন সমস্যা থেকে নিরাপদে থাকেন। পাশাপাশি বাবা-মা ও চিন্তামুক্ত থাকেন। যার ফলশ্রুতিতে তাদের এই আচরণ দেখে আমরা খুবই বিমোহিত ও অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছি।

2 weeks ago we did group salt in Byaspur Hijli Para. The problem for most of the groups was the lack of skilled teachers. Children are falling behind in education in various ways. Because studying at home needs some guidance apart from what is learned in class at school. After doing a group salt, they come up with different ways to solve this problem. A 9thgrade girl from among them said that she would teach children in her spare time. Besides, a mother said she will buy sports equipment for children so that they can play sports. Another mother said that there is an empty room in her house where children can study together. In return, the teacher (the girl who is interested in teaching) can teach the children. Also they will raise funds for purchase of sports equipment especially ludo, cram board, bat ball etc. All of them will work together in the physical and mental development of the children. Few days later we found that they had taken up various tasks on their own initiative, especially the girl started to teach the children and a guardian also bought a ball with which the children played. Another mother gives them time with a ludo. We are very happy to see it with our own eyes. We are also fascinated to see that they have so much energy that they are so motivated to solve their own problems. Now sometimes we go and spend time with them and we like it very much. Children are safe from various problems of society if they focus on studies and sports. Besides, parents are also worry free. As a result, we are very amused and inspired by their behavior.
