Lors de la session d’auto évaluation dans la communauté CBCO/Kitambo ; l’un de participants à donné la motivation de la création  du Ministère de lutte contre le VIH/SIDA au sien de la Communauté Batiste au Congo.

En effet, un Pasteur était affecté par la mort de ces sœurs par le VIH/SIDA. Il a pris l’option de mettre en place une structure de la communauté qui devra s’occuper de la prévention et la prise en charge des personnes infectée s et affectées par le VIH/SIDA. C’est ainsi que le Ministère de lutte contre le VIH/SIDA de la CBCO connais beaucoup du succès et il a aidé un grand nombre de Personne vivant avec le VIH/SIDA de sortir de leur clandestinité. Etant animé par les personnes affecté et infecté du VIH/SIDA et en y ajoutant accompagnement pastoral.

Dit – on, l’implication et la participation des personnes affecté et infecté du VIH/SIDA donne une nouvelle image à la lutte contre le VIH/SIDA et contribue à l’extension rapide des activités au sein des Paroisses et des Ecoles appartenant à la communauté.
