Making powerful connections by recognizing each others’ strengths.
Participants were invited to choose an image, a postcard that reminded them of a success in their lives and, in pairs, talk to each other about that success story. The room was abuzz, and even though it was 7 pm, the citizens came out of this exercise filled with energy and with big smiles on their faces. As an icing on the cake, we were all invited to pay attention to each others’ strengths throughout the three days, note them on little cards and place each appreciation in the respective person’s envelope on the clothesline.

« Établir des liens profonds en apprenant à connaître les forces de chacun. Les participants ont été invités à choisir une image, une carte postale qui leur a rappelé une réussite dans leur vie et, par deux, à parler de ce succès. La salle était très animée et, malgré l’heure, 19 heures, les citoyens sont sortis de cet exercice remplis d'énergie, de grands sourires sur le visage. Cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons tous été invités à être attentifs aux forces de chacun pendant les trois jours de formation, à les noter sur de petites cartes et à placer chaque appréciation dans les enveloppes nominatives sur la corde à linge. »
