Connecting local responses around the world
There is growing connection between organizations responding to HIV in Kenya. With the increased number of AIDS competence coaches in the country and the ongoing GLIA experience, the vision and dream for a Kenya competence group emerged.

Would you like to connect with Bel competence (Belgium team)?
One of the strongest country teams in the Constellation is Bel Competence. The urge to learn and strengthen their facilitation skills is high. Therefore, they hold frequent learning events to build their skills. How beautifully they do it...they get together in a place for a weekend, cook and eat together, share and learn, celebrate...heartwarming. I was fortunate to be part of such an event in July. The focus was self assessment. We also discussed the connection between SALT and CLC.
Here is an upcoming event organised by Belcompetence

Dear April and Meble,
Would it be possible for you to share the story of Dorcus Beads from Eastern Kenya. They sent beautiful souvenirs to the new Constellation board members. Kenyan team rocks:-)
Dear Zoneziwoh,
Welcome to the Kenya group! You may connect with different team members- Onesmus, Meble, April and all other dear Kenyan friends. Would you like to share more about your connection with Kenya?
Its been a delight to recently introduce two young Kenyan friends- Raphael and Ann Njeri to this group. Raphael works with youth and Ann is just setting up her own NGO and is very keen to apply Community life competence approach in her work.
Another inspiring young woman has been Akiko who is from Japan and has found her second home in Kenya.
I end with an interesting and warm person- Anne Babcok who shared that she lived in Kenya some years ago. She is currently based in UK and her dream is to live in Kenya.
Welcome, my friends to this group from whom personally and professionally I have learned a great deal. You might find another group of interest on 'India Kenya learning together' on Truckers and HIV
