The Population, Health, and Environment (PHE) approach addresses the relationship between human health and environmental health in order to improve primary health care services, conserve biodiversity and natural resources, and develop sustainable livelihoods. When development issues are addressed together, communities thrive.
In this webinar hosted by K4Health, champions of the PHE approach will present on the successful implementation of PHE programs across four diverse settings (The Philippines, Madagascar, Ethiopia, and the Lake Victoria Basin) and share stories about people whose lives have been improved because of it. This webinar will also provide a platform for knowledge exchange for other countries and programs interested in the integrated approach. Presenters:
Joan Castro, PATH Foundation Philippines
Nantenaina Andriamalala, PHE Network of Madagascar
Endashaw Mogessie, PHE Consortium of Ethiopia
Doreen Othero, PHE Program, Lake Victoria Basin
