Praxis and Oxfam India cordially invite you to 'Voice for Change - Agrarian Communities' Action Plan on Climate Change' on June 1st, 2015 from 2.00 pm onwards, at the Deputy Speaker's Hall, The Constitution Club of India, Vithal Bhai Patel House, Rafi Marg, New Delhi-110 001.

The programme sees the coming together of a Ground-Level Panel consisting of 12 men and women from agrarian communities in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand from May 29-31, 2015. This group will collectively analyse the impact of climate change on their lives and evolve an action plan based on their lived experience. They will be
presenting their perspectives on climate change and agriculture before a wide audience of policy makers, civil society groups and partner organisations on June 1.

The importance of this Panel is its membership. The panellists derive their expertise in climate change from their lived experience and not as researchers, policy makers or academicians. For many of us, it will be an opportunity to hear the voices from the margins!
