In the DRC, after eight months of support by Constellation coaches, 622 communities documented their own progress in response to AIDS, far more than the 225 expected under PNMLS AIDS project.

 In Guyana, UNAIDS head responded to budget cuts by making the development of competence his priority.

 In Mozambique, people with disabilities have not only acted against HIV for their own community, but also facilitated local responses in other communities both against HIV and for disability.

In Russia, civil society actors contradicted the prior judgement according to which a community approach will not work there, and facilitated local responses to HIV and other issues such as drug use.

In India organisations have applied AIDS competence process to strengthen Targeted Interventions.
