DESCRIPTION:  \n\nUNITAID and Constellation presentA     Taste of
  AIDS competence... \n  \n\n\n\n\nIn the DRC, after eight months of
  support by Constellation coaches, 622 communities documented their ow
 n progress in response to AIDS, far more than the 225 expected under P
 NMLS AIDS project.\n In Guyana, UNAIDS head responded to budget cuts 
 by making the development of competence his priority.\n In Mozambique
 , people with disabilities have not only acted against HIV for their o
 wn community, but also facilitated local responses in other communitie
 s both against HIV and for disability.\nIn Russia, civil society actor
 s contradicted the prior judgement according to which a community appr
 oach will not work there, and facilitated local responses to HIV and o
 ther issues such as drug use.\nIn India organisations have applied AID
 S competence process to strengthen Targeted Interventions.  \n \nWo
 uld you like to explore what led to this community response to  HIV?

 fit organisation, stimulates communities to take action through an app
 roach that appreciates strengths and fosters local ownership. It offer
 s a Life Competence process, through which communities systematically 
 envision, act, learn and share. It began with HIV but now communities 
 in 30 countries have successfully applied the process to issues like H
