পেচাকোলা কমিউনিটির যমুনা গ্রুপের একজন সক্রিয় সদস্য কলি, যিনি ছোটবেলা থেকেই বহুমুখী প্রতিভার অধিকারী। জীবনের শুরু থেকেই তার মধ্যে ছিল এক অদম্য মনোবল ও আত্মবিশ্বাস, যা তাকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে গেছে সাংস্কৃতিক ও খেলাধুলার জগতে।
ছোটবেলা থেকেই কলি খেলাধুলা ও সাংস্কৃতিক কার্যক্রমে বিশেষ আগ্রহ দেখিয়েছেন। ক্লাস ওয়ান থেকে শুরু করে ক্লাস টেন পর্যন্ত স্কুলের প্রতিটি সাংস্কৃতিক ও খেলাধুলার আয়োজনে অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন এবং প্রতিবারই প্রথম হয়েছেন।
একদিন আমি কৌতূহল নিয়ে জানতে চাইলাম, “তুমি কীভাবে প্রতিবারই প্রথম হতে?”
কলি উত্তর দিলেন,
“খেলাধুলা আমার খুব পছন্দ, তবে আমি সবসময় নিজেকে প্রথম কল্পনা করতাম। আমি বিশ্বাস করতাম আমি পারব। সেই বিশ্বাস আর মনোবলই আমাকে সাফল্যের পথে নিয়ে গেছে।”
তার কথায় বোঝা যায়, প্রতিভা শুধু জন্মগত নয়—এটি গড়ে ওঠে মনের শক্তি, আত্মবিশ্বাস এবং চেষ্টার মাধ্যমে।
আজ কলি শুধু নিজের সাফল্য নিয়েই ভাবেন না, বরং তার কমিউনিটির শিশুদের ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়েও চিন্তিত। তিনি লক্ষ্য করেছেন, অনেক শিশু আর্থিক অসচ্ছলতার কারণে প্রাইভেট টিউশন নিতে পারে না। ফলে তারা পড়াশোনায় পিছিয়ে পড়ে।
এই বাস্তবতা দেখে কলি এক মহৎ উদ্যোগ নিয়েছেন—যেসব শিশু প্রাইভেট পড়তে পারে না, তাদের জন্য তিনি সপ্তাহে অন্তত একদিন ফ্রি পড়ানোর ব্যবস্থা করার পরিকল্পনা করছেন।
কলির এই চিন্তাভাবনা ও উদ্যোগ সত্যিই সমাজের জন্য এক অনুপ্রেরণা। তিনি আমাদের শিখিয়েছেন—মনোবল, প্রচেষ্টা এবং সহযোগিতার মনোভাব মানুষকে কেবল নিজের সাফল্যের নয়, অন্যের জন্যও আলো ছড়াতে সক্ষম করে।
শক্তি:
• আত্মবিশ্বাস ও মনোবল: ছোটবেলা থেকেই ‘আমি পারব’ বিশ্বাসে নিজেকে গড়েছেন।
• নেতৃত্বের গুণাবলি: নিজের অর্জনকে কেবল নিজের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ না রেখে অন্যদের জন্য কাজে লাগানোর মানসিকতা।
• সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতা: দরিদ্র শিশুদের জন্য নিজে থেকে শিক্ষার উদ্যোগ নেওয়ার আগ্রহ।
অনুভূতি:
• নিজের পরিশ্রমে অর্জিত সাফল্য তাকে আত্মবিশ্বাসী ও গর্বিত করেছে।
• ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্ম যেন পিছিয়ে না পড়ে, এ নিয়ে সে চিন্তিত।
• ছোট উদ্যোগও সমাজে বড় প্রভাব ফেলতে পারে—এমন আশাবাদী মনোভাব।
ফলাফল:
• কমিউনিটির অনুপ্রেরণা: কলি এখন এলাকার শিশু-কিশোরদের রোল মডেল।
• সচেতনতা সৃষ্টি: তার চিন্তা ও উদ্যোগ অন্যদের মধ্যে দায়িত্ববোধ তৈরি করছে।
• সম্ভাব্য পরিবর্তন: দরিদ্র শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য পড়াশোনায় নতুন আশা তৈরি হচ্ছে।
শিক্ষা:
• আত্মবিশ্বাসই সাফল্যের মূল চাবিকাঠি।
• একটি ছোট উদ্যোগ সমাজে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনতে পারে।

Koli, an active member of the Jamuna Group in Pechakola community, has been a multi-talented individual since childhood. From an early age, she showed an indomitable spirit and self-confidence, which led her to excel in both cultural activities and sports.
She participated in every school event from class one to class ten—be it a cultural competition or a sports meet—and almost every time, she secured the first position.
Curious, I once asked her, “How did you manage to always come first?”
With a smile, Koli replied: “I love sports and cultural activities. I always imagined myself as a winner. I believed I could, and that belief led me to success.”
Her words reveal a powerful truth: talent is not just innate, it is built through mental strength, confidence, and hard work.
Today, Koli is not only concerned with her own success but is deeply aware of the challenges faced by children in her community. She has noticed that many children fall behind in their studies because their families cannot afford private tuition.
Moved by this reality, Koli has taken a noble initiative—she plans to teach underprivileged children once a week for free, so they don’t lag behind in education due to financial hardship.
Koli’s mindset and initiative are truly inspirational. She teaches us that with courage, dedication, and a heart to help others, one can become a light not just for oneself, but for the entire community.
