Recently, I had several SALT conversations with my colleagues in Jeevika, West Bengal, India. I have also started SALT conversations with those close to me. Recently, my friend narrated this story. He said that he helped a friend who had dropped out of secondary school. He got him re-admitted. He was a Hindi medium student, he did not know how to read or write Bengali. My friend taught him how to read and write Bengali and finally the friend was able to clear Higher Secondary from Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya. Now the friend is self-reliant and considers himself an educated person in the society. My firiend said that he is proud to fulfill the duty of friendship.🙏🙏🙏

Lesson from SALT: I got inspired by others to work. I realized that if I mix deeply with others, then I can share anything. I was hesitant to share openly in my office but now after SALT conversations with the team members I am not scared anymore. This photo shows my shows my feelings on what a SALT conversation can do.

আমার এক বন্ধুকে পড়াশোনা করতে সাহায্য করেছিলাম। সে মাধ্যমিকে ড্রপ আউট ছিল। তাকে আবার মাধ্যমিকে ভর্তি করিয়েছিলাম। সে ছিল হিন্দি মিডিয়ামের ছাত্র, সে বাংলা কিছুই পড়তে ও লিখতে জানতো না। তাকে আমি বাংলা পড়তে ও লিখতে শিখিয়েছিলাম। তারপর তাকে রবীন্দ্র মুক্ত বিদ্যালয় থেকে মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পাশ করিয়েছি।এখন সে স্বনির্ভর ও সমাজের সে নিজেকে শিক্ষিত ব্যক্তি মনে করে।  বন্ধু হয়ে বন্ধুত্বের দায়িত্ব পালন করে আজ আমি গর্বিত।🙏🙏🙏

বন্ধুর সাথে salt করে যে আমার যেটা ভালো লেগেছে তার হার না মানা এগিয়ে যাওয়া সাহসটা । তার জীবনের গল্প থেকে অন্যরা অনুপ্রেরণা পায়। তার সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে চলার ক্ষমতা আছে যতই বাধা আসুক না কেন সে মোকাবেলা করতে পারে।  বন্ধুর যেটা ভালো লেগেছে আমার সাথে salt করে, সে কোনদিন এরকম ভাবেনি নিজেকে নিয়ে আর Hardworking করে আজ সে সফল হয়েছে। নিজেকে সে গর্বিত মনে করে।আমি অন্যের থেকে Inspire হয়ে কাজ করার উৎসাহ পেয়েছি।যেটা salt করে বুঝতে পেরেছি অন্যের সাথে depply মিশি তাহলে যে কোন কথা শেয়ার করতে পারি।
