Theresa shares about art-therapy approaches learnt from CFC
Theresa is a caregiver coordinator for Etafeni Daycare Centre in Nyanga township, Cape Town. As a participant in Care for Carers (CFC) workshops offered through AIDS Response, Theresa learnt how to use art - painting, collage - to become better connected to what she was feeling. After the workshops, she began to apply the same approaches with groups of caregivers and HIV+ women, helping them acknowledge and express their feelings about difficult issues.
