Svetlana Izambaeva, a young, beautiful woman from Russia, an epitome of courage and warmth who inspires many. I interacted closely with her for nearly two weeks and I dream to be like her.

She is HIV positive, her husband is too. She has two children who were born HIV negative. How does it feel to face society when you are HIV positive? And how tolerant is society to such people? Who do they turn to for help to fight the plague of the modern era? Enjoy interview of Svetlana, Miss positive 2005

Svetlana thank you for your courage, sincerity and willingness to change attitudes towards PLHIV worldwide! I am a man not from cowardly but when put myself at your place, hands sweat as the "girl child". Your life for many of PLWH and for me personally high profile to which you want to.

A thought-provoking response from Ian Campbell to the video. Thanks Ian.

A beautiful and compelling reflection. We are drawn to the essence  of HIV influence on belonging and family and future ie way beyond a 'technical' infection. Local relationship is the locus of formation for both fragmentation and healing. Engaging is not an option-it is a necessity.

The same is true in Tanzania, having just returned -local communities are confused by the retreat of health workers to 'Care Treatment Centres' based in hospitals. We are in the second era of medical /health systems denial.
