I am a Social Worker working in a local NGO suporting people affected and infected with HIV/AIDS- i am driven by the anguish that most of thme face each day with no real hope for the future
my dream to have a world commuity in which we recognise HIV/AIDS as any other illness in the line of Malaria etc; for which every patient would receive the support and care that is approrpiate to enable them contine functioning and appreciating life as a gift from God without fear of stigma or discrimination
I'm proud of:
I am proud to have been born in Africa, lived the life and experience which i have led as it has given me a rich diversity of how people live having lived both in poor rural and relatively better urban settlements. My education and training as a social worker is of equal importance as it enables me know more about people as my work involves and is about people. Am proud to be a Social Worker
