Hi Rituu!

Work is good but looking for a new job as we are low on funding, did you hear that the The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Vietnamese government co-organized a regional conference on countermeasures against drug and HIV/AIDS in Hanoi on June 14?

Dear Rituu, I am just watching a report about the "dabbawala" in Bombay, who deliver the meal... That's amazing !! A man made a thesis about the "dabbawala" in Bombay. And he's been contacted by an organisation working on HIV/AIDS, who wants to plan an awareness campaign. So, as the "dabbawala" deliver the meal, they will bring some fliers to the people who use this delivery service. :D With Love, Marion

Many thanks for your support, Dear Sister. The theme for this year's CAD is quite thoughtful. I have been thinking about ways youths can meaningfully take up leadership position. And all I see is the limitation (political, social and economic barriers) surrounding youth movement. Though that shouldn't be the ground on which youth should base their complain

Once more, i think this is a very good opportunity to investigate some of the reasons why youth are absent in leadership.

Thanks

I look forward to hearing from you

Dear Rituu,

Thank you for appreciate my say.

I would think it is a brilliant idea to let the youth taking the lead. They might do it by telling about their acting, and about the outcomes of it, offering others to try acting too.   That way, others might want to follow, and will keep observing the community's.

How about a page in FB to where they can "like" their discussions straight from the site, and enable comments of others?  how about intriguing way of writing?

I hope I have answered your question/wonder.:)

hugs

Irit

Good morning Rituu,

Thank you for inviting me to be your friend even at a distance. I am not often looking at this site - at least as often as I should - and i am sure to miss a lot of enthusiasm from all Constellation people and beyond.

I saw your concern about staying positive in front of the negativity and to some extend I share the same since several months. As our friend Ian would say, it looks like we need to believe in human and in the capacities of the local response; in that case, being local would mean trying to find every day a positive moment or discussion. Is it a discipline? I don't know, but it is certainly not always easy. especially when you are away from all of those who could can support you. And I am especially thinking about the family, being the close and the extended one.

Do you have specials tips?

Amities.

Hey Hi Ritu,

Thanks for writing to me. I am indeed humbled by your including in the first place, and also making a point to add a comment after I rejoined. Though, i used to read the community life competence newsletter, but was not able to remain in touch considering my work pressure. However, as I am back I am thinking to contribute in whatever way i can, as well as learn from all of you! Yes, I would love to inform all of you about my project. But, as it's in its conception phase, I am officially not able to disclose. But, soon within a month or two I will be able to give a certain formal intro. to what I am doing. But, as you are curious, let me give a snapshot. I am trying to come out with a very unique health promotion program for reducing high risk health behavior, self-harm among the Gay youth in Australia as a part of a very renowned team here at NCHSR, UNSW. The project alsod eals with sevral psychological phenomena, and tries to address it. it's long and intensive intervention program, and still we are thinking of sevral ideas to combine and make it more comprehensive. I would be happy to share as the time goes, and would also like to learn from the unique approaches in different cultures, and what all can be utilized in my research work!

Thank you once again

Hi dear Ritu,

Thanks for adding me as your friend and in very first visit I learnt what is the improtant of SALT.In my language Kannada there is a VERY FAMOUS saying "UPPIGINTHA RUCHI ILLA TAYIGINTHA BANDHU ILLA".That means There is no taste greater to  "Salt " and There is no greater relationship than "Mother". Hence your "SALT" is also very precious.
