Your small steps can make a big changes

On July 14, 2024, I got stuck in a traffic jam on my way to office due to the ongoing situation in the country. I started to feel a little sick in the extreme heat, the jams, the unsettled state of the country. I was looking around for water as the bottle with me ran out. A tubewell was found a short distance away, but it was not possible to get down from the vehicle and fetch water because the vehicle could leave at any time. A traveling Vedic village is situated next to the place where my car was. Some children were playing on the side of the road. I called one of them who was relatively big and asked her to give me some water in the bottle. But she was looking at me hesitantly. When I asked her again, she brought me a bottle of water. I happily gift the girl a chocolate from my bag. The girl ran and gave chocolate to her companions and they also came and started roaming around me. But since my car left by then I just waved them off and went to office.

While talking to one of my friends that night, I came to know that today while he was in the jam, some children, boys and girls, were asking passengers if they needed anything, if they needed water, they could bring it. They even helped some people and brought water. Many of the passengers were giving them gifts with money or chocolate nuts or something. The children came back to one place and showed each other who got what. After hearing this incident, I asked him about the description of the girl, and found the girl who brought me water and her playmates matched the description he gave, and realized that they were the ones who came to help others, whether it was to get a gift or to play tricks. After this incident I realized that a small action of yours acts as a booster behind doing something great or big. We should always appreciate the work of others. This is how big things are achieved through small events, just need a little push for that.

Note: As this is just a co-incident happended with me I couldn't take any photo of them. Hope I will meet soon and pass a hole day with them with lots of photos.

I saw this in the news. The situation is very critical. Young people are drifting away. The experience you shared was very good. Children have many good qualities, but it takes time or the right circumstances for them to come out. They won’t quickly forget the praise you have given them. They will continue to help people in difficult times.
