Visite SALT en Guinée

Chers amis,

Voici quelques photos de la visite SALT réalisées le mois de Juin en Guinée. Je ne ferai pas un speech, mais seulement vous dire quelques mots concernant la visite. J'aimerais préciser que ce voyage à été ma première visite à SALT  et m'a ainsi permit de débuter mon aventure en Afrique noire. J'ai eu la chance de partager ce voyage avec Jean-Louis, Jocelyne, nos amis de RDC Compétence, Judith et Eric, d'Antoine d'Unicef-Congo, de notre ami venu du Mali, Sangaré, et aussi Antonine de Mission Philoafricaine. Nous avons été entourés par une équipe enthousiaste et inoubliable (Membres d'UNICEF, du gouvernement...). Par peur d'oublier certaines personnes, je voulais juste dire un grand merci à toute la communauté qui a permit de réaliser une grande avancée dans les projets de la Constellation. Sans votre aide tout ceci n'aurait pas été possible. Je voudrais également vous remercier par votre accueil particulièrement chaleureux. Je tenais aussi à encourager les Facilitateurs pour qu'ils continuent à faire une excellente labeur.

Nous avons eu l'opportunité de rencontrer les haut représentants du Gouvernement à Conakry ainsi que le Gouverneur de la province de Faranah et le Sous-Préfect de Kissidougou.

J'ai eu la chance de visiter FOREAH et GBANGBADOU. Une bienvenue indescriptible. J'ai été très émue et pendant le temps qu'il ma fallu pour réaliser ce qu'il m'arrivait je ne savais pas comment réagir, ni quoi dire. Je ne réussissait pas à trouver les mots pour remercier les gens des villages qui nous ont accueillit avec le plus grand des respect. Leur musique, leur dance ont envahi mon esprit et cela m'est arrivé jusqu'au cœur. Les journées de travail avec les communautés m'ont permis de comprendre que nous n'étions pas la seulement pour enseigner mais aussi pour apprendre d'eux. Je ressens une profonde gratitude pour les communautés de Foreah et Gbangbadou qui m'ont aider à me redécouvrir . Je savais qu'en quittant la Guinée, une partie de mon cœur resterait toujours là bas.

Je réserve un spécial remerciement à Jean-Louis, qui sans lui, ce voyage n'aurait jamais été possible.

I was very excited and during the time it took me to realize what was happening to me I did not know how to react or what to say. I was not able to find the words to thank the people in the villages who have welcomed with the greatest respect. Their music, dance invaded my mind and I came to the heart. The days of working with communities helped me understand that we are not only to teach but also to learn from them. I feel a deep gratitude for the communities and Foreah Gbangbadou that help me rediscover myself. I knew that leaving Guinea, a part of my heart will always remain there.
