SALT-এর আলোয় গল্প বলা: পেচাঁকোলা কমিউনিটির যাত্রা পডকাস্টে

গত ২৫ নভেম্বর ২০২৫, আমাদের BRED team আলোকিত করি এর অফিসে একটি বিশেষ নিমন্ত্রণে অংশ নেওয়ার সুযোগ পেয়েছিল। SALT প্রক্রিয়ায় দীর্ঘদিন কাজ করলেও এ ধরনের পডকাস্ট সেশনে অংশ নেওয়ার অভিজ্ঞতা আমাদের জন্য সম্পূর্ণ নতুন ছিল। তাই দিনটির জন্য ছিল অন্যরকম উত্তেজনা এবং শেখার প্রত্যাশা।

সেদিন Alokito Kori team একটি বিশেষ পডকাস্ট রেকর্ডিং আয়োজন করেছিল, যেখানে আমাদের BRED team-এর পাশাপাশি আমাদের SALT প্রক্রিয়ায় যাদের নিয়ে কাজ করছি পেচাঁকোলা কমিউনিটির দুইজন সদস্যও অংশ নিয়েছিল। কিন্তু দিনের শুরুটা ছিল কিছুটা চ্যালেঞ্জিং। রাস্তায় প্রচণ্ড জ্যাম ও আন্দোলনের কারণে বিকাল ৩টায় অনুষ্ঠান শুরু করার কথা থাকলেও তা সম্ভব হয়নি। সব বাধা পেরিয়ে আমরা শেষ পর্যন্ত ৪.৩০ টার দিকে Alokito Kori team এর অফিসে পৌঁছাই।

অফিসে ঢুকতেই Alokito Kori team আমাদের শরবত ও ফুল দিয়ে উষ্ণ স্বাগত জানায়। তাদের এই আন্তরিকতা মুহূর্তেই আমাদের যাত্রার ক্লান্তি ভুলিয়ে দেয়। আমরা বসে আলাপ শুরু করতেই পডকাস্টের প্রস্তুতি চলছিল, কিন্তু হঠাৎ লোডশেডিং হওয়ায় প্রায় অর্ধ ঘণ্টা দেরি হয়।

তবে এই সময়টাতে সবচেয়ে প্রশংসনীয় বিষয় ছিল Alokito Kori team-এর নিশাত আপুর নেতৃত্ব। পুরো অপেক্ষার সময়ে তিনি হাসিমুখে সবার মনোযোগ ধরে রেখেছেন, উৎসাহ দিয়েছেন এবং পজিটিভ পরিবেশ বজায় রেখেছেন। তার এ ইতিবাচকতা আমাদের BRED team এর জন্য ছিল দারুণ অনুপ্রেরণাদায়ক।

দিনটির সবচেয়ে আনন্দের ও অর্থবহ অংশ ছিল-
আমাদের BRED team এর SALT এর কার্যক্রম যাদের নিয়ে পেচাঁকোলা কমিউনিটিতে কাজ করছে, সেই কমিউনিটির দুইজন সদস্য প্রথমবার ঢাকা শহরে এসেছে। শুধু তাই নয়, এটাই ছিল তাদের জীবনের প্রথম অভিজ্ঞতা কমিউনিটির বাইরে কোনো পেশাদার পরিবেশে অংশ নেওয়ার। তাদের চোখে-মুখে ছিল উৎসাহ, উত্তেজনা এবং নিজেদের কাজ নিয়ে গর্ব।

পডকাস্টে তারা খুব আত্মবিশ্বাসের সাথে তাদের কমিউনিটি লিড অ্যাকশনগুলো, কীভাবে SALT প্রক্রিয়া তাদের ভেতরের শক্তি জাগিয়েছে, এবং কীভাবে তারা নিজেরা উদ্যোগ নিয়ে কাজ শুরু করেছে এসব শেয়ার করেছে। তাদের কণ্ঠে নিজেদের গল্প শোনা আমাদের BRED team-এর জন্য ছিল অত্যন্ত গর্বের।

দিনটির পুরো অভিজ্ঞতা যেন ধীরে ধীরে হৃদয়ে বসে থাকা এক কোমল উপলব্ধি। আমরা বুঝলাম গল্প যখন ভাগ হয়, সম্পর্ক তখন আরও কাছে আসে। একসাথে বসে কথা বলার সেই মুহূর্তগুলো আমাদের মধ্যে এক অদৃশ্য সেতু তৈরি করে, যেটা বিশ্বাস আর বোঝাপড়াকে আরও গভীর করে তোলে।

পেচাঁকোলা কমিউনিটির দুই সদস্যের আত্মবিশ্বাস দেখে মনে হলো যখন মানুষ নিজের ভেতরের শক্তিকে চিনে ফেলে, তখন অসম্ভব বলে কিছু আর থাকে না। তাদের চোখের উজ্জ্বলতা আমাদের নতুন করে শিখিয়েছে, পরিবর্তনের শুরুটা সবসময় মানুষের ভেতর থেকেই আসে।

সেদিন নিশাত আপুর হাসিমুখ, ইতিবাচক আচরণ আর সবার পাশে দাঁড়ানোর ভঙ্গি আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দিল নেতৃত্ব মানে শুধু দিকনির্দেশনা দেওয়া নয়, বরং চারপাশে এমন এক পরিবেশ তৈরি করা যেখানে সবাই নিরাপদ, আরামদায়ক এবং মূল্যবান অনুভব করে।

দিনটির প্রতিটা মুহূর্ত, প্রতিটা চ্যালেঞ্জ, আর প্রতিটা ছোট্ট অপেক্ষা সব মিলিয়ে আমাদের শিখিয়েছে যে নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা সবসময় নতুন শেখা নিয়ে আসে। আর SALT প্রক্রিয়া মানুষের ভেতরের শক্তিকে কীভাবে জাগিয়ে তোলে, তা আমরা পডকাস্টে সবার কণ্ঠে খুব কাছ থেকে অনুভব করেছি।

সবশেষে, এই পুরো যাত্রা ছিল শেখা, অনুভব আর অনুপ্রেরণায় ভরা একটি উষ্ণ, হৃদয় ছুঁয়ে যাওয়া অভিজ্ঞতা, যা আমাদের কাজের প্রতি বিশ্বাসকে আরও গভীর করেছে।

On November 25, 2025, our BRED team had the opportunity to participate in a special invitation at the Alokito Kori office. Although we have been working in the SALT process for a long time, the experience of participating in such a podcast session was completely new to us. So there was a different excitement and expectation of learning for the day.

That day, the Alokito Kori team organized a special podcast recording, where our BRED team, as well as two members of the Pechakola community with whom we are working in the SALT process, also participated. But the beginning of the day was a bit challenging. Although the program was supposed to start at 3 pm due to heavy traffic jams and agitation on the road, it was not possible. After overcoming all the obstacles, we finally reached the Alokito Kori team office at around 4.30 pm.

As soon as we entered the office, the Alokito Kori team warmly welcomed us with sherbet and flowers. Their sincerity instantly made us forget the fatigue of our journey.  As we sat down to start the conversation, the podcast was being prepared, but due to sudden load shedding, it was delayed by about half an hour.

However, the most commendable thing during this time was the leadership of Nishat Apu of the Alokito Kori team. During the entire wait, she kept everyone's attention with a smile, encouraged them, and maintained a positive atmosphere. Her positivity was very inspiring for our BRED team.

The most joyful and meaningful part of the day was-

Two members of the community, with whom our BRED team's SALT program is working in the Pechakola community, came to Dhaka city for the first time. Not only that, but this was their first experience in a professional environment outside the community. There was enthusiasm, excitement, and pride in their work in their eyes.

In the podcast, they very confidently shared their community lead actions, how the SALT process awakened their inner strength, and how they started working on their own initiative.  Hearing their stories in their voices was a source of great pride for our BRED team.

The entire experience of the day was like a gentle realization slowly settling in our hearts. We understood that when stories are shared, relationships come closer. Those moments of sitting together and talking create an invisible bridge between us, which deepens trust and understanding.

Seeing the confidence of two members of the Pechakola community, it seemed that when people recognize their inner strength, nothing is impossible. The brightness in their eyes taught us anew that the beginning of change always comes from within.

Nishat Apu's smile, positive attitude, and attitude of standing by everyone that day reminded us that leadership is not just about giving direction, but also about creating an environment around everyone where everyone feels safe, comfortable, and valued.

Every moment of the day, every challenge, and every small expectation taught us that new experiences always bring new learning.  And we experienced firsthand how the SALT process awakens the power within people, through everyone's voices in the podcast. Ultimately, this entire journey was a warm, heart-touching experience filled with learning, feeling, and inspiration, which deepened our faith in our work.
