Pinki is a community champion from Horisinga station block in Udalguri, Assam in India.

After being introduced with SALT/CLCP .She 's volunteered to promote lmmunisation .Now she doesn't wait for ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) to inform, she checks the vaccine date in MCP cards (immunisation card) of babies and reminds parents to take their babies to the center .Sometime she even herself takes baby to the center .Recently she came to know that one  11month old baby missed the vaccine at 9month as the mother went of to her maternal home .Pinki conselled her to get the baby vaccinated  next wednesday .

She reaches out to each mother in the village with a massage 'Our children our responsibility'. We are really proud of Pinki.
