I am very concerned about the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the world and even more concerned about the 4 new infections per day that is occurring in my country, I hope that my group can transfer what we have learned from the 6 blended learning modules to the various communities that we target to do our salt visits, keeping in mind we will also be learning new things from these communities to make us even more salty. It's as one of my group members said we need to pass the salt,so as we embark on our first salt visit shortly i hope we can truly pass de S.A.L.T.
Now as for my dreams, perfection has always been in my mind; i dream of a place where people are consciously being kind and thoughtful to each other and understand each other is the order of the day, and their something in my mind that tells me we as humans all have the same dream.

Thank you Wayne for sharing this on our platform. Isn't it amazing indeed that dreams in Trinidad & Tobago are very much similar to dreams of people in rural DR-Congo, the Netherlands or Thailand? Community Life Competence has to do a lot with understanding each other. And understanding happens often after a process of community dialogue, reflection and learning. That's what we try to facilitate!
Thanks for posting your experience. What do you like the most about blended learning and what were the challenges? Look forward to hearing your forthcoming experiences with SALT.
Yes Wayne, we have the same dream; hopes and concerns! As we share these we realize that indeed we do. So on your first SALT visit be sure to be SALTy so that others join in realizing that WE ALL have similar dreams. This truly stimulates local response using their own strengths. Looking fwd to hearing about that SALT visit (^_^)

Hi Wayne,
When is your first SALT visit? Which community will you visit?
Good luck!
We sometimes say that doing a SALT visit is like visiting your friends' house. You are yourself, you ask about how your friend is doing and you connect in a human way. It is just the natural way of being :-)
