Knowledge Fair in Kashful Team

A knowledge fair was organized in Char Nakalia Community by Pechakola Community and Char Nakalia Community. In that knowledge fair, members of the Penchakola Community shared their stories of change, and the Enlightenment Team shared their community stories at the knowledge fair. After listening to those stories, the Kashful Team of Char Nakalia Community identified their strengths through Salt CLCP Approach.

A member of that group, Moyna, said her name was Moyna, and I can also do tailoring. Moyna makes her own clothes and gets other people's clothes made in the waders in exchange for money. Moyna uses that money to fulfill some of her own needs. During the dream building, Moyna proposed to the other members of the group that if anyone learns a job, I will teach the job for free. Moyna also said that if you can learn tailoring, then just as I can fulfill my own needs, you can also. Hearing that, Afroza Sumaiya and Sadia, members of the same group, became interested in learning the work and told Moyna that we will learn. Sadia said that we will also learn tailoring and make our own clothes, as well as make clothes for our brothers, sisters and mother, and then try to make others too. As they said, they made plans with their dreams. However, during the dream, Afroza's mother said that our daughters or we can do tailoring, 2 of us, but none of us know how to sew Nakshi Kantha. Then I, as a facilitator, told them that I know how to draw and sew Nakshi Kantha, so the group members were overwhelmed with emotion and said, "Then you will teach us a little." In response to that, I also told them that yes, I will teach them, no problem, I am by your side. In view of this, they planned who will learn from whom, Sadia will learn from me, Sadia Afroza and Maina will sew Nakshi Kantha together. As they said or planned, their work has started, now Maina has started teaching Sumaiya and Sadia the work of tailoring. With the aim of making them self-reliant. However, it is not yet possible to start sewing Nakshi Kantha because the process of preparing the Kantha is going on. When the Kantha is ready, drawing and sewing will be started on it.

জ্ঞানমেলার মাধ্যমে জ্ঞানের পরশ কাশফুল টিমে 

চর নাকালিয়া কমিউনিটিতে পেচাকোলা কমিউনিটি ও চর নাকালিয়া কমিউনিটি সমন্বয়ে জ্ঞানমেলার আয়োজন করেন। সে জ্ঞান মেলায় পেঁচাকোলা কমিউনিটির সদস্যরা তাদের পরিবর্তনের গল্প গুলো তুলে ধরেন এছাড়াও আলোকিত করি টিমের পক্ষ থেকে তাদের কমিউনিটির গল্প শেয়ার করেন জ্ঞান মেলাতে। সেই গল্পগুলো শুনে চর নাকালিয়া কমিউনিটির কাশফুল দলের সদস্যদের মনে সল্ট সি এল সি পি অ্যাপ্রোজের মাধ্যমে তাদের শক্তি চিহ্নিত করেন।

ওই গ্রুপের একজন সদস্য ময়না তার নাম ময়না বলে আমিও দর্জির কাজ করতে পারি ময়না নিজের পোশাক তৈরি করে এবং অন্যদের পোশাক ওয়াডারে তৈরি করে দেন টাকার বিনিময়ে। ময়না সেই টাকা দিয়ে তার নিজের প্রয়োজনীয় কিছু চাহিদা পূরণ করেন। ড্রিম বিল্ডিং এর সময় ময়নায় প্রস্তাব দেন দলের মাঝে অন্যান্য সদস্যদের উদ্দেশ্য করে যে যদি কেউ কাজ শেখেন তাহলে আমি কাজ শিখাব ফ্রিতে । ময়না আরো বলে যদি দর্জির কাজ শিখে করতে পারেন তাহলে আমি যেমন আমার নিজের প্রয়োজনীয় চাহিদা পূরণ করতে পারি তেমন আপনারাও পারবেন ওই কথা শুনে তখন ওই দলেরই সদস্য আফরোজা সুমাইয়া ও সাদিয়া কাজ শিখতে আগ্রহী হয় এবং ময়নাকে বলে আমরা শিখব। সাদিয়া বলে আমরাও দর্জির কাজ শিখে নিজের পোশাক তৈরি করার পাশাপাশি ভাই-বোন ও মায়ের পোশাক তৈরি করব তারপরে অন্যদেরটাও তৈরি করার চেষ্টা করব। যেমন বলা তেমনি তাদের স্বপ্ন সহ পরিকল্পনা তৈরি করেন। তবে ড্রিমের সময় আফরোজার মা বলেন আমাদের মেয়েরা বা আমরা দর্জির কাজ তো পারিই ২ এক জন কিন্তু কেউ নকশী কাঁথা সেলাই করতে জানিনা বা পারি না তখন আমি ফেসিলেটর হিসেবে উনাদেরকে বলি আমি নকশী কাঁথার ড্রইং ও সেলাই করতে জানি তাই দলের সদস্যরা আবেগে আপ্লুত হয়ে বলে তাহলে আপনি আমাদের একটু শিখিয়ে দেবেন সেই কথার সুবাদে আমিও উনাদের বলি হ্যাঁ আমি শিখাবো কোন সমস্যা নাই আমি তো আছি আপনাদের পাশে। এ কথার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে তারা পরিকল্পনা করেন কে কে শিখবে সাদিয়া আমার কাছ থেকে শিখবে শিখে সাদিয়া আফরোজা ও ময়না মিলে নকশি কাঁথা সেলাই করবে। যেমনি বলা বা পরিকল্পনা করা তেমনি তাদের কাজ শুরু করে দেয়া এখন ময়না সুমাইয়া ও সাদিয়াকে দর্জির কাজ শেখাতে শুরু করে দিয়েছে । তাদের আত্মনির্ভরশীল হওয়ার লক্ষ্যে। তবে নকশী কাঁথা সেলাই করা শুরু করা এখনো সম্ভব হয়নি কারণ কাঁথা প্রস্তুত প্রক্রিয়া চলছে। যখন কাঁথা প্রস্তুত হবে তখন তার উপরে ড্রইং শেখা ও সেলাই শেখা শুরু করা হবে।
