পাএ কমিউনিটিতে প্রেরণা ও পরিবর্তন:Inspiration and Transformation in the Patro Community

আশীর্বাদ টিমের সবাই যখন আমাদের পাএ কমিউনিটিতে তাদের গল্প শেয়ার করলেন, তখন আমাদের কমিউনিটির মানুষরা সত্যিই দেখল, কমিউনিটিতে পরিবর্তন সম্ভব, এবং তা আসলেই হতে পারে। শান্তি দিদি যখন সল্টের মাধ্যমে তাদের কমিউনিটির পরিবর্তনের গল্প বলেন, সবাই মনোযোগ দিয়ে শুনে। শান্তি দিদি যখন খুব আন্তরিকভাবে তাদের কমিউনিটির কাজের প্রশংসা করেন, তখন আমাদের মানুষরাও অনুপ্রাণিত হয়। তাদের মনে ভাবনা জন্মায়, আমরাও তো আমাদের কমিউনিটিতে এমন কাজ করি, তাহলে আমাদের গল্পও অন্যদের অনুপ্রেরণা দিতে পারে।

ড্রয়িং ক্লাসে বাচ্চাদের উৎসাহ দেখার সময় সজনির চোখে নতুন উদ্দীপনা ফুটে ওঠে। শান্তি দিদি যখন বলেন, তাদের কমিউনিটিতেও সুমিতা দিদি বাচ্চাদের নিয়ে ক্লাস করান, তখন সজনি আরও আগ্রহী হয়ে ওঠে। ফলোআপে কথা বলে বোঝা গেল, সে তার ক্লাসের গুরুত্ব নতুনভাবে উপলব্ধি করেছে। কমিউনিটির মানুষরাও তার সাথে একমত হয় এবং তাকে সমর্থন দেয়।

গানের ক্লাসে দুই কমিউনিটির মানুষ একত্রে বসে পাএ ভাষায় গান শেখা দেখায়। সবাই বলেন, যেন এই চর্চা চালু থাকে, কারণ এতে ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতির গুরুত্ব বোঝা যাবে এবং কমিউনিটিতে ভালো পরিবর্তন আসবে। গানের শিক্ষকও শান্তি দিদির কথা শুনে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছেন এবং বুঝেছেন তার কাজ কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

পঞ্চায়েতের সদস্য শক্তি পাএ বলেন, “একডো না থাকলেও সবাই মিলে এই চর্চা চালিয়ে যেতে হবে।” এটি সত্যিই হৃদয় ছুঁয়ে যাওয়া একটি শিক্ষা। অভিভাবকরাও নিজেদের সন্তানদের ক্লাসে পাঠানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নেন এবং উপস্থিতির গুরুত্ব দিতে প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ হন।

সবমিলিয়ে, এটি ছিল এক অনন্য, হৃদয়গ্রাহী অভিজ্ঞতা। দুই কমিউনিটির মানুষ একসাথে বসে গল্প শোনায়, নিজেদের গল্প ভাগ করে নেয়, এবং একে অপরের থেকে শিখে নিজেদের পরিবর্তনের পথে এগোতে শুরু করে। এই মুহূর্তগুলোই আমাদের শিক্ষা দেয় পরিবর্তন শুধু দেখা নয়, তা অনুভব করা এবং সঙ্গে সঙ্গে কাজে লাগানো।

 

When the Ashirbad team shared their stories with our Patro community in the recent exposure visit of Arshirbad organization, the people truly saw that change in the community is possible and it really can happen. When Shanti Didi spoke about the transformations in their community through the SALT approach, everyone listened attentively. And when she sincerely praised the work of their community, our people felt inspired too. It made them think “We are doing similar work in our community; maybe our stories can inspire others as well.”

During the drawing class, seeing the children’s enthusiasm sparked new energy in Sajani’s eyes. When Shanti Didi mentioned that in their community, Sumita Didi also conducts classes for children, Sajani became even more motivated. In follow-up conversations, it became clear that she had gained a fresh understanding of the importance of her class. The community members also agreed with her and offered their support.

In the music class, people from both communities came together to learn songs in the Patro language. Everyone expressed their desire for this practice to continue, recognizing that it helps preserve the language and culture while bringing positive changes to the community. Even the music teacher felt inspired after hearing Shanti Didi speak and realized how important their work really is.Shakti Patro a member of the Panchayet, said, “Even without ECDO, we must all work together to continue this practice.” It was truly a heartfelt lesson. Parents also decided to send their children to classes regularly and pledged to emphasize attendance.

Overall, it was a unique and deeply moving experience. People from both communities came together to listen to each other’s stories, share their own experiences, and learn from one another, taking steps toward their own transformation. These moments teach us that change is not just something to witness it is something to feel and put into action.
