नमस्कार सभी को मेरा नाम रागिनी है 

और मैं जंगल जोगिया बारी टोला, महाराजगंज की रहने वाली हूं

मैं सैफ सोसाइटी गोरखपुर से काम करती हूं और मेरे प्रोजेक्ट का नाम है GFC के माध्यम से जो मैंने अपनी ताकत को जाना है मैं उसके बारे में अपना कुछ अनुभव शेयर करना चाहती हूं आप लोगों के बीच में और बताना चाहती हूं कि एक इंसान अपनी ताकत जानकर किस हद तक अपने जीवन में एक बदलाव ला सकता है जो मुझ में आया है मैं इसके बारे में कुछ आप लोगों के बीच में शेयर करना चाहती हूं

मैं एक मूसेहर समुदाय मे रहती हु जहां महिलाओं को लेकर लोग बिल्कुल भी जागरूक नहीं है ना महिलाओं को उनका हक दिलाने के लिए कोई लड़ाई करता है ना महिलाओं को उनकी अपनी जिंदगी में कोई उनका अधिकार होता है हमारे कुछ ऐसे रीति रिवाज कुछ कानून अपने हिसाब से बनाए गए हैं अगर हम अपने समुदाय की उनका को फॉलो नहीं करेंगे उनका कानून को नहीं मानेंगे तो हमारा समुदाय हमें अपने के बीच से अलग कर देता है और हर किसी को इसी बात का डर होता है कि हम दूसरे समुदाय में सैफ नहीं पाए जाएंगे इसी डर के वजह से कोई भी उसे समुदाय में रहने वाला आदमी अपने जीवन के लिए कोई भी एक्शन नहीं लेता है और उनका जो भी कानून है वही उनको मानाना पड़ता है जो उनके रीति रिवाज है उन्हीं के बने हुए उसूल है उन्हीं पर चलना पड़ता है

GFC प्रोजेक्ट के दौरान जब मैं किसी एक घर के पप्पू नाम के लड़के के पास साल्ट करने के लिए गई जब मैंने उनसे बातचीत की मैंने उनकी एस्टेट के बारे में उनसे बातचीत की उनके अच्छे कामों के ऊपर जब मैंने उनकी सराहना की उनकी ताकत के ऊपर जब मैंने उनकी काफी तारीफ की तो उन्होंने मेरे काम के द्वारा उन्होंने मेरी ताकत को जाना और उन्होंने मेरी भी काफी सराहना की उन्होंने बताया कि आप इसी समुदाय में होकर जिस समुदाय में महिलाएं सामने वाले से बोलने में बात करने में 100 बार सोचती है लेकिन आप इतना अच्छा बोलते हो और अपने समुदाय के लिए अपने कम्युनिटी के लिए एक अच्छे प्रोजेक्ट के ऊपर काम भी कर रहे हो तो लोगों की समस्याओं के ऊपर कैसे काम करना है या अपने समुदाय के लिए खुद अपने आप पर कैसे जागरूक होना है तो मुझे अच्छा लगा आपके बारे में जानकर और मेरी काफी तारीफ की फिर उन्होंने कहा कि आप इतने ताकतवर हो तो क्यों ना हम अपने समुदाय के कुछ महिलाओं के ऊपर इस जिले में जितने भी हमारे समुदाय में पाए जाने वाले जो लोग हैं सभी के गांव से टोल से पांच पांच महिलाओं को चुनकर और उन महिलाओं पर आपको जिला अध्यक्ष के रूप में आपको घोषित किया जाता है क्योंकि मुझे पूरी उम्मीद है कि आप अच्छा करोगे अपने समुदाय के लिए और आगे उनकी भविष्य के लिए भी और उनकी जो भी समस्याएं हैं उनके समाधान के लिए भी आपने अच्छी तरह से जागरूक करोगे तो मैंने आपके अंदर यह एक ताकत अच्छी है मुझे बहुत अच्छा लगा है धन्यवाद 

मैं धन्यवाद देती हूं पप्पू जी का इन्होंने जो मुझे इस काबिल समझा है और मुझे इस बात पर गर्व भी है कि आज मेरा समुदाय जो कभी अपने बेटियों को घर से बाहर निकलने में घबराता था लेकिन साल्ट के माध्यम से GFC के माध्यम से लोगों के अंदर एक अच्छी जागरूकता आई है और वह आगे के बारे में सोचने लगे हैं कि हमारा आगे का भविष्य कैसा होना चाहिए धन्यवाद

My name is Ragini, and I live in Jangal Jogiya Bari Tola, Maharajganj.

I work with Saif Society, Gorakhpur, and the name of my project is GFC. Through this project, I have discovered my inner strength, and today I want to share my experience with all of you. I want to tell you how knowing your own strength can bring a big positive change in your life — just like it has brought change in mine.

I belong to the Musahar community, where people are still not very aware about women’s rights. No one really fights for women to get their rights, and women often do not have the freedom to make decisions about their own lives. Our community follows some traditional customs and self-made rules. If someone does not follow these customs, the community separates that person from the group. Everyone fears being left alone because they think they will not feel safe or accepted outside the community. Because of this fear, many people do not take any action for their own lives and continue to follow the same traditions and rules.

During the GFC project through Saif Society, I once visited a house for a SALT meeting and met a boy named Pappu. While talking to him, I discussed his achievements and appreciated his good work and strengths. When I praised him, he also understood my strength through my work and appreciated me a lot. He said that in a community where women hesitate even to speak or express themselves, I was speaking confidently and working for the development of my community through a meaningful project. He appreciated how I was trying to solve people’s problems and create awareness among them.

He then said that since I have strong leadership qualities, women from different villages and tolas of our community should be selected, and I should be declared as the District President to support and guide them. He said he believed that I could work well for the future of the community and help women understand and solve their problems.

I sincerely thank Pappu ji for believing in me and considering me capable of this responsibility. I feel proud that the same community which once hesitated to allow daughters to step outside their homes is now becoming more aware through SALT and the GFC project. People have started thinking about their future and the kind of life they want to build ahead.
