Hi everyone 👋 here is perfect story that matches the quote which says "As Iron Sharpen Irons, so one person sharpens another" from the life of Ms. Monika from Atoot, Nepal. Basically she is from Ranchi, Jharkhand, India but in the Atoot she works as football ⚽ coach and runs the education learning center especially to empower the vulnerable girl children.
The reason she coaches football ⚽ to the girls is because she has observed that most of the girls where she works were vulnerable and deprived from their own rights such as the right to freedom, right to play and gender discrimination and inequality at their home and community. And even the common issue that the girls were drop out from their school probably after class 6th & 7th and get early child marriage.
While, she has faced the situation and struggle in her life at home and in the community like the same as those girls for their rights. Being a girl, she set up an example and moved against the gender inequality mentality from the first at her home and village after passing out class 12th and trained for the football ⚽ coaching.
Moreover, after trained as coach of football ⚽ and passed out class 12th, she joined the Atoot organisation where she find out and have received an opportunity to serve to empower the girls who were underprivileged from their own rights through her skills of coaching for football ⚽ as well as education learning center.
What I have learnt first thing when she was sharing her story, I have recalled myself about that there is a quote from the Bible which says "As Iron Sharpens Iron, so one person sharpens another'' likewise Monica has experienced the struggle and faced the situation in her earlier childhood days at home and community being deprived from the rights of girls child. Now she has been able to sharpen (empower or modify) those same girls to build confidence and get privilege for their rights at their home and community where they belong.
Second thing is that "A Same Vibe Can Make a BIG WAVE" which indicates; though she has a dream to uplift the rights of girls but after joining the Atoot, it has thrived her dream to fulfill because of the same vibe (objectives) of her and Atoot which led her to success.
Thank you Monika for sharing the inspiration and blessed work for the rights of girl child ☺️
