Hello everyone, Nameste
My name is Krishna Tamang. I am from Dhading, Nepal, and I work as a Community Facilitator at Peace for People under the ARC Project.
On 28 May 2026, we successfully conducted a Group SALT program in the Chepang community of Matigau. A total of 43 people participated in the program. Among them, 27 were community members and 16 were representatives from Peace for People, CWSN, and Kopila Nepal.
The program gave us a good opportunity to know the community better, listen to their experiences, strengthen relationships, and share learning with each other. I was very happy to have the chance to host and facilitate the program. Speaking in front of many people helped increase my confidence, and I felt proud of myself. Friends from CWSN and Kopila Nepal also supported and encouraged me throughout the program.Through this Group SALT, I learned more about the strengths and potential within the community. The commitment, cooperation, and support shown by community members were truly inspiring. I also had the opportunity to share experiences and learn from friends from CWSN and Kopila Nepal, which helped me understand different ways of working with communities.
This experience was very valuable for my learning, self-reflection, and teamwork. It has motivated me to continue working closely with communities through similar programs in the future.
Thank you.
