About Me:

I am a Karachi- based feminist activist and researcher working on gender based violence, health, social justice and inclusion. Having spent some 20 years in NGO management, legal and policy advocacy, community organizing, and consulting/ advising on gender justice issues, I am soon transitioning back into full time work come March 2025. I will be leading an FCDO funded programme run through CARE International Pakistan, in voice, accountability and inclusion in 5 districts of the province of Sindh, Pakistan. The programme proposes to integrating CLPC and SALT in the overall programme approach. I was designed the programme in close consultation and guidance from Kausar S. Khan.

My dream:

Every person has a voice in their own happiness, growth and development, and of their families, communities and society. Development is decolonized, and the most marginalized take centre stage in setting social change agenda, governance and public policy decisions.
