- Pratchawin Somsak ,Zack, 26, is the Co-Founder of WHITELOVE organization a voluntary-based, youth-lead non-profit organization based in Thailand. At WHITELOVE, we are passionate to unlock the young people from the notion that they are powerless to affect positive change in the world. We promote environmentally healthy, culture of peace, just and universal human rights for all.
Zack also acting for the Executive Directive of the Interfaith Youth Act on AIDS, (IYAA), a youth-lead, network of young people addressing HIV/AIDS in Greater Mekong Sub-region comprises Cambodia, the People's Republic of China, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam .
Currently he help NCA in conducting HIV/AIDS Programs with main focus on community-based interventions and mobilization of Faith-Based Organization. Engage in National HIV/AIDS policy with a focus on Provincial Coordinating Mechanism and Youth Friendly Service.
Zack use to worked at ActionAid International (Thailand) as a Youth Program Officer (2006-2007) , engaged in youth-related policy forums and keep ActionAid Thailand’s youth team updated on HIV/AIDS, Education, Emergency, Gender, Governance, and Regional developments issues. Zack acted as a focal person for Thailand program to coordinate with international team in UK and Johannesburg to implement the campaign on the Right to food/Livelihood, managed and coordinated ActionAid international’s youth movement project “Activista” in Thailand.
- My dream:
- I dreams of opening a Child friendly house and peace center in Chiang Mai where children and their single mother who affected by HIV/AIDS can study, sleep, eat, learn basic life skills, and access altanative income-generating opportunities.
- I'm proud of:
- I'm pround of what I have done for this world, even it is a small thing.I belive that every thing in this world are start and combine with a small element.
