i work as a community development worker for Scat. I started working in the NGO sector 25 years ago as a YWCA volunteer.
I am now working as the Eastern Cape Regional Co-ordinator for SCAT working with 30 organisations that mainly do human rights and development work. We provide these organisations with funding, capacity building, mentoring and support services.
My dream:
My dream is a country where people live fulfilling lives in vibrant communities, knowing their rights, treating each other with respect and dignity.
I'm proud of:
I am proud of the resilience of the people of SA, our spirit of fighting and not giving up even when it is tough.

Great to see you here - thanks for taking up the invitation to join.
I thought you'd be interested to know that your video clips are posted at http://aidscompetence.ning.com/group/cordaidpartnerssouthafrica. The videos are in pretty low resolution so that it’s as easy as possible for people without broadband to access your experiences, but I have the original high-res versions if you’re ever interested in using them for something different.
I’d love to know what you think. And, if you’re happy with them, perhaps you’d be open to encouraging others to link to them and comment, etc.
I’m working on the Partners Profile for SCAT, and should have that uploaded by the end of this week.
