Dr. Rashidi is a Development professional with more than 16 years of experience in Strategic Planning, stakeholder participatory impact assessment and micro-planning in terms of establishing objectives, goals, short/long term budgets & develop plans for the achievement of these goals. Transforming plans into cohesive action using participatory approaches, Developing and implementing policies and manuals. Dr. Rashidi has proven capacity in Project/Program Management in terms of developing new projects, conducting feasibility studies and preparing project reports to assess viability of projects on social and economic level. Monitoring project progress in coordination with government agencies and project partners with participatory principles to ensure smooth execution of projects within the time & cost norms. Dr. Rashidi is experienced in Research/ Operations Management in terms of conducting/supporting surveys/studies, quantitative and participatory qualitative research on various development issues etc. Dr. Rashidi has understanding and skills in relationship building with funding agencies, project partners, consultants, contractors & other external agencies for finalizing contracts and ensuring compliance to the terms and conditions as well as forming new strategic partnership and alliances with GOs, NGO’s and private sector. Dr. Rashidi is a Facilitator and Institutional Capacity Development expert in Participatory Methodologies Action and formative research ,Micro-planning through IHD – Integrated Human Development framework ,Community Convergent Action (CCA),Systemic Delivery of Qualitative Education , Strategic Planning for Efficient Resource Planning , Building Sustainable Partnerships for Entitlements, Issue Based training on Disaster risk Mitigation and Sustainable Livelihood, MNH etc.
Dr. Rashidi has worked with various organizations including UNICEF (through RCPLA), NOVIB,Catholic Relief Services-CP, Path, DFID PACS Program,MAMTA-New Delhi, Geneva Global, TAHA, Academy for Educational Development ( SAID/AED),PFI, Plan, Intra Health,Vistar Project, Save The children Fund ,SKN, Unifem.OXFAM,
Working in urban slums Dr. Rashidi created social marketing models that created entrepreneurs at Bottom of the Pyramid resulting poverty alleviation and better community health outcomes. Dr. RAshidi was invited by President of India for NUWA 2009.The model is now being replicated in North Eastern states.
Dr. Rashidi is also a Guest Faculty at Social Engineering Deportment of Sociology- Lucknow University, Banker Institute of rural Development [BIRD] and several academic institutions.
