- About Me:
- I am a HIV/AIDS Focal Point assigned to the Ministry of Home Affairs and working with the Ministry of Health HIV/AIDS workplace program. My job entails designing and implementing the HIV/AIDS workplan and affords me the opportunity to collaborate with other agencies to promote behaviour change as it relates to HIV and other health issues such as sexual and reproductive health, trafficking in persons, the effects of smoking, diabetes and hypertension on the human body.
- My dream:
- My dream is for peoples of the world to recognise that their Health is their greatest asset and as such will adopt lifestyle choices that will safeguard their health
- I'm proud of:
- I am proud to be part of the multi-sectoral response to HIV/AIDS in Guyana and am happy with collaborative engagements that I was able to be a part of and will continue to engage stakeholders but will now incorporate the Competence Approach as one of the ways of working

These experiences and stories do not require a discussion or exchange, but comments are welcome! Learning Together: Our Forum is the place where we learn together. If you want to discuss an element of the Competence process, or other issues related to local responses, please contribute to the forum.
