I am a Sociologist with more than ten years experience in Kenya's health sector at operational and policy levels. I participated in the establishment of the Prevention of Mother to Child Programme at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in 2002-2004. I provided technical advice on HIV and AIDS programming to Dioceses of the Catholic Church in Kenya for four years (2004-2008). Since then I have worked at the national level in Kenya's health sector as an advisor on Policy dialogue.
I have personal experience on challenges faced by the Society on HIV and AIDS having taken care of my siblings and close relations since the year 2000 following the death of my parents and subsequently close relations. My work in the Catholic Church exposed me to policy and technical challenges faced by implementers.
My dream:
I want to grow into a consultant and researcher, contributing to the strengthening of interventions against HIV and AIDS.
I'm proud of:
I proud of my personal achievements in raising orphans and in the contributions I have made in Kenya in tackling HIv and AIDS.
