- About Me:
- My name is Apollo. I am a National Trainer and Volunteer with the Guyana Red Cross Society and Remote Area Medical Guyana. I enjoy traveling, meeting people and making new friends, cooking and learning. My passion lies in humanitarian work. I like to see positive change and development, and most of all to know that I am a part of it. I am fun, easy going and professional at the same time. I like to live by the philosophy of two quotes mainly: "Take good care of what you have, for you never miss the water till the well runs dry" and "A poor man is not a man without a penny, but a man without a dream".
- My dream:
- As the saying goes, "a poor man is not a man without a penny, but a man without a dream". Therefore, I refuse to let my dream(s) be limited and consider myself to be wealthy. My dream is for the entire world to one day live in peace and harmony, where all are respected and treated equally.
- I'm proud of:
- I'm most proud of the undying love, care, support and encouragement showered on me by my family and friends. Also, I'm proud of anyone who is honest, sincere and good at heart. I'm proud that I live in a society where persons are becoming more and more open-minded and free.

Sharing Experiences: In the blogs we are sharing our experiences with local responses and the competence process. These experiences and stories do not require a discussion or exchange, but comments are welcome! Some stories in the blog link directly to our knowledge asset (see tab knowledge asset).I am sure your experience will be useful to others!
Learning Together: Our Forum is the place where we learn together. If you want to discuss an element of the Competence process, or other issues related to local responses, please contribute to the forum.
