The International Institute for Rural Reconstruction (IIRR), a Cordaid Partner, implements the Community-Managed Disaster Risk Reduction Programme (CMDRR) with rural communities. In partnership with The Constellation, IIRR is developing CMDRR+, integrating elements of the AIDS Competence process to strengthen the IIRR approach with communities in Ethiopia, particularly in relation to HIV and AIDS responses.
