Requesting your participation in an interview for a case study of The SALT way of working and organisational regeneration.

Dear friends in The Constellation,

I write to invite your participation in some research. I would like to interview you, to learn about your personal experience as a member of The Constellation.Together, we'll explore the process which was taken to "regenerate" The Constellation when we faced a crisis in late 2011. Whether or not you were involved in this process, and whether or not you took on a work package for 2012, I'd like to hear more about your experience.....

The interviews will be 45-75 mins and will take place between 14th Feb - 29th Feb. If you're willing to participate, please email me / reply as soon as possible with a suggested date and time. I will try as hard as I can to fit to your preference.

My email is olivia.munoru@gmail.com

Below this message is some background on the research and the Sample Interview Questions.

I'm so looking forward to connecting with each of you and hearing your stories,

Big spirit-clap and thanks in advance :-)

Olivia

More about the research:

The research is for my final dissertation, as part of a Master of Arts in International and Community Development (Deakin University, Australia). The paper will be titled: Re-visiting the Dream of The Constellation: A case study of organisational regeneration through the application of "CLC” Process and the "SALT" Way of Working

In summary, The hypothesis of this paper is that for development organisations to genuinely achieve their vision for development, they must first practise what they preach, internally. The paper will draw on the experience of The Constellation during our financial struggle in late 2011, and your collective experiences as members of the Global Support Team / Membership Assembly/ Coaches / National Facilitation Teams etc. I will argue in favour of more nimble, less hierarchical structures, the practise of strength-based approaches, a culture of learning and sharing and the adoption of principles of self-determination. Essentially I am arguing for organisations to adopt SALT as a way of working.
