This event will highlight learnings from the Couple Engage project on male engagement in family planning, focusing on specific insights from studies in India in the context of COVID-19.

Following a presentation on the project, we will host a panel discussion on male engagement in family planning, featuring Dr. Ravi Verma (ICRW Asia), Reshma Trasi (Pathfinder), and Siddharta Swarup (Facebook). ICRW Asia's Director of Research and Programs, Pranita Achyut, will moderate.

Key questions include:

• What are the approaches and challenges in engaging men in family planning?
• How can technology play a role in engaging young men in family planning, particularly in the context of COVID-19?
• How has COVID-19 influenced men’s behavior and their identities?
• Has COVID-19 provided spaces, opportunities and entry points that may be tapped into for gender-equitable family planning?
