কমিউনিটির পটভূমি

ঋষিপাড়া একটি হরিজন কমিউনিটি, যেখানে অধিকাংশ মানুষ হিন্দি ভাষায় কথা বলেন। বাংলা ভাষা তাদের জন্য দ্বিতীয় ভাষা হিসেবে বিবেচিত। অনেকের বাংলা পড়া, লেখা ও বলা দক্ষতা খুবই সীমিত। এই ভাষাগত সীমাবদ্ধতার কারণে তারা সমাজ ও শিক্ষার মূলধারার সঙ্গে পুরোপুরি যুক্ত হতে পারে না।এমনকি কিছু কিছু শিশুরা বলে,আমাদের মাতৃভাষা হিন্দি।কারন তারা জন্মের পর থেকে হিন্দি ভাষায় কথা শুনে আসে আর বলে।বাংলা না পারার কারনে অনেক সময় অনেক জায়গায় তারা অবহেলিত হন।ফলে তারা সামনে এগিয়ে সূর্যের আলো না দেখে পিছিয়ে তারা অন্ধকার দেখে।তাই এডোলেশনস গার্লসরা ছোট ভাই বোনদের ভাষা চর্চা শিখানোর উদ্যােগ নেয়। 

উদ্যোগের উদ্দেশ্য:

বাংলা ভাষা শেখার মাধ্যমে কমিউনিটির শিশু ও কিশোরদের শিক্ষার মান বৃদ্ধি করা এবং তাদের আত্মবিশ্বাস গড়ে তোলা।ভাষা না পাড়ায় ড্রপ আউট না হওয়া।

এই তিনজন এডোলেসেন্ট মেয়ের উদ্যোগে কমিউনিটিতে একটি গ্রুপ তৈরি করা হয়, যেখানে তারা গাছেকে নিজেদের শক্তি হিসেবে প্রকাশ করে আর গাছের ফলকে উদ্দেশ্য হিসেবে প্রকাশ করে,যার ফল তারা পেতে চায়। নিজেদের ছোট ভাই-বোনদের নিয়মিত বাংলা ভাষা শেখাবে— পড়া, লেখা এবং উচ্চারণ অনুশীলন করে।

কার্যক্রমের বিবরণ

প্রতিদিন সন্ধ্যায় শিশুদের নিয়ে বাংলা চর্চা ক্লাস পরিচালিত হয়।

ক্লাসে বাংলা বর্ণমালা, শব্দ গঠন, সহজ গল্প ও ছড়া শেখানো হয়।

সাধারণত তারা সারাদিনে যেভাবে কথা বলে সেগুলো বাংলা ভাষায় চর্চা করানো হবে।

এডোলেশনস দের এই উদ্যোগ প্রংশার পাত্র।কমিউনিটির ছোট ভাই বোনরা বাংলা ভাষাতে কথা বলতে পারলে তাদের জন্য লেখাপড়া করা,বন্ধু বান্ধবের সাথে গল্প করা এবং বাহিরের পরিবেশের সাথে নিজেকে মিলাতে সক্ষম হবে।ভাষার ভয়ে আর তারা ড্রপ আউট হবে না।

Community Background

Rishipara is a Harijan community, where most people speak Hindi. Bengali is considered a second language for them. Many have very limited reading, writing and speaking skills in Bengali. Due to this linguistic limitation, they cannot fully integrate into the mainstream of society and education. Some children even say that our mother tongue is Hindi. Because they have been hearing and speaking Hindi since birth. Due to their inability to speak Bengali, they are often neglected in many places. As a result, they do not see the light of the sun when moving forward, and they see darkness when moving backward. Therefore, Adolescence Girls take the initiative to teach their younger siblings the language. 

Objective of the initiative:

To improve the quality of education of children and adolescents of the community by learning Bengali and to build their confidence. To prevent dropouts due to lack of language.

These three adolescent girls have created a group in the community, where they express the tree as their strength and the fruit of the tree as the purpose, the fruit of which they want to get. They will teach their younger siblings the Bengali language regularly - reading, writing and pronunciation practice.

Program details

Every evening, Bengali practice classes are conducted with children.

In the class, Bengali alphabet, word formation, simple stories and rhymes are taught.

Generally, the way they speak throughout the day will be practiced in Bengali.

Opinion:

This initiative by Adolations is a good idea. If the younger siblings of the community can speak Bengali, they will be able to study, talk to their friends and adapt to the outside environment. They will no longer drop out due to fear of the language.
