OBSERVATIONS
Some people in the communities still have negative attitude towards condoms in general and wrong perception about female condoms
People insist on having the female condoms for free since it is a new product in the market
There is increase in participation from the communities
People who don’t know the advantage of female condoms always criticize.
DIFFICULTIES IN THE FIELD
Since it’s a new product in some communities, people demand it should be given for free
Difficult in working during this season because of heavy rain fall
Insufficient promoting materials
RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Sensitizations should be extended to semi urban and rural communities
2. Umbrellas and rain coat are needed to ease work during this season
3. More educational materials should be given to peer educators like sample protectiv flyers, stickers, and additional T-shirt for peer educators
CONCLUSION
Given the improvement of the recommendations and observation, and equally coupled with the fact that we are all experienced with community now, we are very sure of attaining the trimester Objectives and even more. Above all creating positive impact in the community and a sure guarantee that the female condom will be the best option in the community for birth control in the municipality of Buea.
