About Me:
I'm a seventeen year old student living in France, on the border of Switzerland. With the multicultural city of Geneva as my base and being of Dutch and Indonesian descent, I have been brought up in a diversity of cultures, languages and people.

I appreciate this, and I take it with me everyday, everywhere, to continue exploring the beauty of this world.
My dream:
In the process of doing so, I would like to elaborate my interest in social sciences and social design once I finished high-school. My dream is to be able to use my passions to reach people, move forward and cherish together.
I'm proud of:
What we* have accomplished so far, and what is yet to come.**

* As humans on earth for a while.
** It is simultaneously scary and beautiful.

While identifying the strengths in the room we got to know who we are…

Posted on January 20, 2016 at 5:21pm 3 Comments

We (Eden, Vittoria & Loïs) are three friends that met through our studies at Amsterdam University College. To complete our bachelor, we are required to do a Community Project. This project does not per se have to be linked to our respective majors, but should enable us to engage at local and global levels and to demonstrate personal and social responsibility. As we were already familiar with the Constellation’s approach and some of us already applied it to a certain extent both locally…

“But isn’t that just the normal behaviour?” asked one of the students in response to the explanation of the SALT way of thinking and way of working. Together with Boris and Marlou, we went to the Hogeschool of Amsterdam on the 29th of September to transfer CLCP to a group of 17 students.

Following a course in Community Development, they are currently in full preparation for their final projects. One student will be…

Sharood, fostering communities through food

Posted on October 11, 2015 at 1:58pm 5 Comments

Together with three fellow students of mine, we developed and launched our app Sharood on our campus in August 2015. Sharood (think “share-food”), is an app that connects people in the same area by matching those who are cooking with those are hungry. The inspiration behind the app came from our realisation of how the individualism of our society can be destructive for its members and a hinder for its progress. By seeking to make the idea of sharing food a…
