সল্ট প্রতিটি মানুষের ভেতরে আলোক শক্তিকে খুজে বের করে

আমার জীবনের এমন একটা সময় ছিল যখন আমি নিজেকে চারপাশ থেকে আলাদা মনে করতাম। সম্পর্ক থেকে দূরে ছিলাম। মানুষের সাথে মিশতে বা কথা বলতে পারতাম না।এমন কি বাংলা ভাষায় কথা বলতে পারতাম না।একটা অদৃশ্য দেয়াল যেন আমাকে আটকে রেখেছিল।

২০১৩সালে আমার বিয়ে হয়। শশুর বাড়ীতে যৌথ পরিবার ছিল। তখনকার সময়ে আমি এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা পাস করি। আমার খুব স্বপ্ন ছিল লেখা পড়া করে একটা চাকরী করব। কিন্তু এটা কীভাবে সম্ভব তা চিন্তা করে পেতাম না এই যৌথ পরিবারে। পরিবারের সদস্য সংখ্যা ২২জন।এই২২জনকে ফাঁকি দিয়ে আমি কীভাবে লেখা পড়া করব আর চাকরি।

 

সংসারের ফাঁকে ফাঁকে ডিগ্রি অর্জন করি। তখন আমার পরিবারের কেউ তের পাইনি আমি যে, বিয়ের পর ডিগ্রি পাস করি।কারন আমার পরিবারের কেউ আমাকে পড়াতে চাইত না, সবাই হিংসা করত। কেন আর লেখা পড়া করবে, ঘরের কাজ করার জন্য এনেছি ঘরের কাজ কর। এভাবেই সংসার জীবনে রাতের বেলায় পরতাম, দিনের বেলায় ওবই লুকিয়ে রাখতাম । পরীক্ষার সময় বাবার বাড়ি চলে যেতেম নাইর যাওয়ার কথা বলে। ভাগ্যের পরিবর্তনে আমার ফাইনাল পরীক্ষার সময় আমার ছেলের জন্ম হয়। ছেলের জন্মের ৩দিনের দিন ফাইনাল পরীক্ষা শুরু।তখন আমি কি করবো ভেবে পাচ্ছিলাম না তখন তো পরিবারের সবাই জানবে তখন আমি উওর দিব কি, এভাবেই অনেক সংগ্রাম করে ২০১৭সালে ডিগ্রি পাস করি।

 

ডিগ্রি পাস করার পর ৫-৬বছর আবদ্ধ অন্ধ কার দেয়ালে বন্দী ছিলাম।২০২৪সালে একডোতে যোগদান করে সল্ট পদ্ধতির সঙ্গে পরিচিত হন। নিজের ভেতরের শক্তি ও স্বপ্ন কেও চিন্তে পারিনি বা প্রকাশ করতে পারিনি আগে কখনো। সল্ট আমাকে যেসব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন তা হলো প্রতিটি মানুষের ভেতরে একটি আলোক শক্তি থাকে যা হয়তো তারা নিজেরাই টের পাইনা। সল্ট সেই আলোকে খুজে বের করতে সাহায্য করে। এবং সল্ট শব্দের অর্থ জানতাম শুধু লবন। কিন্তু এই সল্টৈর পূর্ণ রূপ কখন ও জানতাম না, বুঝতাম না বা চিন্তাম না।

 

সল্টৈর পূর্ণ রূপ যখন জানলাম, বুঝলাম এবং শিখলাম,তখন প্রথমে আমার স্বামীর সাথে সল্ট করি।কারন আমার স্বামী কখনও আমাকে জানত না,বুঝতাম বা গুরুত্ব দিত না। শুধু ভাবত আমি একজন কাজের মেয়ে। প্রথম সল্টৈর মাধ্যমে যখন আমার স্বামীর কিছুটা পরিবর্তন হলো তখন আমি কমিউনিটিতে সল্ট করতে যাই।কারন নিজে এবং নিজের পরিবার যদি সল্ট সম্পর্কে না বুঝে তাহলে কমিউনিটির লোকজন কীভাবে বুঝবেন।এটা আমার মূল ধারনা ছিল। সল্ট এর মাধ্যমে আমি প্রথমবারের মতো বুঝতে পারি আমি শুধু শ্রোতা না, আমি একজন গল্পের গ্রাহক। সল্ট আমাকে শিখিয়েছে অগ্রগতি একা সম্ভব নয়, সেটা হয় সমষ্টি গত বিশ্বাস আর সহযোগিতার মাধ্যম। এটা ই সল্ট থেকে পাওয়া আমার জীবনের সবচেয়ে বড় শিক্ষা।

There was a time in my life when I felt completely different from those around me. I kept myself away from relationships. I couldn’t mingle with people or even talk. I couldn’t even speak in Bengali. It felt as if an invisible wall was holding me back.

In 2013, I got married. My in-laws had a joint family. At that time, I passed my HSC exam. I had a big dream to study and get a job. But I couldn’t figure out how that was possible in this joint family. There were 22 members in the household. How could I study and work while managing these 22 people?

I pursued my degree in the little spare time I could find. No one in my family knew that I passed my degree after marriage because no one wanted me to study everyone was jealous. They said, “Why study? You were brought here to do household work, so do the household work.” So, I would study at night and hide my books during the day. During exams, I would go to my father’s house, saying I was visiting.

By a twist of fate, my son was born during my final exams. Three days after his birth, my final exam began. I didn’t know what to do because everyone in the family would know about the exams. Despite all the struggles, I completed my exams and passed my degree in 2017.

After passing my degree, I felt trapped in an invisible wall for 5–6 years. In 2024, I joined ECDO and came to know about the SALT method. Before that, I had never understood or expressed my inner strength and dreams.

SALT taught me an important lesson: every person has an inner light, even if they themselves don’t realize it. SALT helps to discover that light. Before, I only knew SALT as “salt,” but I never knew its full meaning. When I learned and understood the full meaning, I first practiced SALT with my husband. He never understood, listened to, or valued me; he only saw me as a working woman.

Through the first SALT sessions, my husband started to change a little. Then I began to practice SALT in the community because I believed that if I and my family didn’t understand SALT, how could the community understand it?

Through SALT, I realized for the first time that I am not just a listener; I am also a story-holder. SALT taught me that progress is not possible alone; it happens through collective trust and cooperation. This is the greatest lesson I have received from SALT in my life.
