Constellation and Talent for Humanity: “Connecting the Dots”

Dear Constellation friends,

I write you today filled with gratitude and bewilderment as I look back and take stock of the past few months, and of the many wonderful twists and turns my life has taken…

You see, today I am creating my dream job, and I owe much of the opportunities that have led to this possibility to the Constellation, its spirit and its members, dear friends and priceless life teachers.

One main and unexpected twist has been my encounter with another wonderful organization called “Talent for Humanity”, encounter which, believe it or not, was indirectly facilitated by our favorite Share Facilitator here at the Constellation, Rituu B. Nanda, and her acolyte in miracles Florence Hutchison, also a member of this platform.

Rituu, her eye as always on the lookout for mutually beneficial connections, suggested Florence should connect with me on our Ning platform. And so Florence did, and as she read through my profile she got excited and started making connections, too! A few Linked-In connections, Skype phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and today I am working with Thierry Sanchez, as Project Developer and spokesperson for Talent for Humanity, using strengths that the Constellation helped uncover (creative facilitation, writing, public speaking, social skills) to represent TFH and create a wonderful project for Brussels, Europe and the world! Some Constellation friends here in Belgium are also contributing their unique talents and abilities to assist the birth and development of this project.

So you see, there is much and more to celebrate today, and so much to be grateful for :) !

I feel such resonance between the work, vision and spirit of these two organizations that I think you should meet!

The founders of Talent for Humanity have recently crystallized years of hard work and life-changing encounters into one beautifully-written book, which could be one way for all of you to “meet” Talent for Humanity, the stories we tell and the people we support and celebrate. It tells the stories of Reza, Sherry and Bob Jason, Aliza Hava, Deeyah Khan, Yarrow Kraner, and Daniele Finzi Pasca—men and women who have used their passion and creativity in the arts to reach out and infuse others with values and understanding that are vital for their community, and for our common future.

I won’t spoil the book by spilling the beans here :) , but one thing I do want to say is that it stands incomplete without your own contribution. A few pages at the end are left blank so that you, reader, can write your own “letter to humanity”. The “letter to humanity” is very close to the Constellation’s dream exercise. The main question is: How would you put into words your wishes for the world and your aspirations to do something to bring change? And don’t forget some words on what you plan to do (or what you are already doing)!

You can now order Talent for Humanity: Stories of Creativity, Compassion and Courage to Inspire You on Your Journey. (ISBN-13: 978-1626341814)

The book is available in bookstores throughout the USA, on all Amazon platforms worldwide below, Barnes&Noble as well as all digital formats including Bookbaby.

Oh and one last thing… The first story I read from the book is Yarrow Kraner’s chapter, which is called “Connecting the dots”. Well there’s a point in the chapter where he speaks of an epiphany he had. He was lying in bed when all of a sudden he had a vision. He saw a star light up in a dark sky, alone, shining dimly. Then another star appeared, and another, another, and yet more stars. Soon, light, almost invisible connecting threads started to be etched, connecting the stars amongst themselves. The more connections were made, the brighter all the stars shone, until all the stars we connected and the whole thing blew up!

Light-bulb! Yarrow had found his calling, and he would spend a fair amount of time over the next few years finding and connecting people with powerful visions to people who could help them manifest this idea into reality, thus effectively contributing to HATCHing innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues!

Does this image sound familiar :) ?

With deep respect, love and gratitude to all of you, I wish you and all your loved ones a bright day, and/or night under inspiring starry skies…

Celicia.
