- About Me:
- I am Tanzanian, working with the Ministry of Health in various capacities including teaching at the School of Hygiene at the University College of Health and Allied Health Sciences. Since I came accross Competence approach I have realised that the approach can be applied to every segment of live.
- My dream:
- The ability to fight AIDS is within individuals strengths and when shared will lead to finding sustainable solution in addressin HIV/AIDS. My dream is to seeing indiviuals taking charge of drawing a road map on finding solutions on HIV/AIDS.
- My concern:
- Majority of indiviuals have been left to be spectators on HIV/AIDS issues. They are quit waiting to be given a prescription on how to respond on the issue related to their own health. They are not offered a chance to air their views and suggestions.
- I'm proud of:
- Human beings, since they have the ability to solving their own problems. We learn that from history therefore the war against HIV/AIDS will be soon worn.
- What I think of Community Life Competence:
- An approach that respect human dignity
- What do I want to do to spread Community Life Competence?
- Facilitate AIDS Competence in my community, Launch a facilitation team, Join a facilitation team, Share about AIDS Competence with potential partners; friends; colleagues, I want to apply SALT in my own life (S: Stimulate; Support; A: Appreciate; L: Listen; Learn; Link; T: Transfer; Team)
