Recon Awards 2017 - Open Call for Youth Nominations

The IJR's Reconciliation Award is an initiative aimed at recognising the contribution of young people across the African continent. The IJR would like to recognise 10 young activists who are doing exceptional work in the Gender Justice Field in Africa. We are hereby calling for nominations to be sent in by the public.  Criteria: Nominees have to be between the ages of 18 – 35 Nominees must be young people doing exceptional Gender Justice work in Africa Evidence must be provided to prove work carried out (These include reports, photos, videos, links to campaigns and/or links to either of the above) Click here to fill out the nomination form.

Thank you for the welcome Rituu. Just to add a little to my areas of interest, I am primarily interested in studying culture with a focus on gender, urban and migration.

Looking forward to connect with people who have worked/ working on these fields.
