About Me:
Dr. RC Lamichhane, has been serving ACORAB as an executive director. He has done “Appreciative Inquiry for Igniting Positive Business and Social Change” from CWRU, USA. He holds Ph.D. on Peace and Community Development in Nepal: An Appreciative Inquiry Approach. He is Founder Chairperson of Eastern Research Institute of Positive Science, Chairperson of Imagine Nepal, Lecturer in Kathmandu Forestry College, ICA/IGNOU, Technical Team Leader of Institutional Development of Community of Evaluators, South Asia. He is known as management experts and have Facilitated more than 400 trainings, National and International Seminars and Workshops in Nepal, India and China. He has participated in many international conferences in Nepal, India, Srilanka, Belgium, USA, South Africa, Turkey, Korea and Malaysia. He was the Conference Coordinator, Panelist and Presenter of 4th World AI conference 2009 in Nepal. Facilitator in First International Workshop of Community Forestry, Member of International Advisory Board of 2012 world AI conference Belgium, and panelist of key note speaker in World Appreciative Inquiry Conference 2015 in South Africa. National Theme Leader of 8th Human Global Conference, 2012 and presenters on Appreciative Inquiry for New Sense of Growing Leadership for 21st Century organized by ICA international, He was Presenters of AI to Evaluation in Community of Evaluators' Conclave 2013. He has developed the one of the course modular in ACORAB on Social Marketing and Fund Rising Strategy for Community Radio in Nepal. He was one of plenary speakers in Asian Broadcasting Union (ABU) general assembly Istanbul Turkey on March 26, 2015. He spoke on "Building Community Resilience in Nepal". He was one of the speaker in UN-APCICT/ESCAP, Regional Dialogue in ICTD Capacity Building for Inclusive and Resilient Sustainable Development and Annual Partners Meetings Republic of Korea on "The linkage between Community Resilience and Sustainable Development in Nepal" 1-4 Dec. 2015. He was one who introduce Appreciative Inquiry Approach in Xian China in 2013. Recently he has facilitated the Appreciative Inquiry for Positive Transformation in Peking University, Department of Psychology on 15-17 Oct. 2016 and also conducted the talk program in Beijing Normal University.
