Masculinity group SALT.
আমরা বুড়িগোয়ালিনী কমিউনিটিতে ম্যাস্কুলাইনিটি group SALT করার সময় বয়স ভেদে
৩টা গ্রুপে বিভক্ত করি। প্রতি টা গ্রুপে আলাদা আলাদা মিটিং করি।
★ প্রথম গ্রুপ:- ১৫ থেকে ২৫ বছর।
★ দ্বিতীয় গ্রুপ:- ২৫ থেকে ৪০ বছর।
★ তৃতীয় :- ৪০ উর্দ্ধ একটা গ্রুপ।
প্রতিগ্রুপে ১/২ জন ম্যাসকুলাইনিটি SALT
রিফ্লেকশন পরিবর্তন হয়েছে এমন লোকও ছিলো।
যে কারনে আলোচনাটা সুন্দর হয়েছিলো।
এবং সবার সামনে তাদের পরিবর্তন স্যাম্পল
বা উদাহরন নয় বরং মডেল ছিলো। তারা
প্রতিটা গ্রুপে পুরুষরা বাড়ির মহিলাদের কষ্টটা
অনুভব করে। (ওখানে নারী পুরুষ উভয়ই একই কাজ করে তাই সমঅধিকার নিয়ে আলোচনা করি নাই।)
ওখানকার মহিলারা সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে বাড়ির সকল কাজ শেষ করে সবাইকে নাস্তা করিয়ে দিনমজুর এর কাজে চলে যায়। পুরুষ মহিলা একসাথে কাজ থেকে এসে পুরুষটা ঘুমিয়ে থাকে। এবং মহিলাটা আবার রান্নাবান্না করে, গৃহপালিত পশুপাখির খেতে দিয়ে বাড়ির সবাইকে খেতে দিয়ে আবার পুরুষ মহিলা একসাথে নদীতে মাছ/ মাছের পোনা ধরতে যায়। মাছ ধরে এসে পুরুষরা রেস্ট নেয়, কেউ কেউ দোকানে আড্ডা মারে।
কিন্তুু মহিলারা তখন ও কাজ করতে থাকে, বাড়ির রান্না বান্না ইত্যাদি কাজ। পুরুষদের রেস্ট আছে মহিলাদের রেস্ট নেই বিষয়টা ভালোভাবে ফুটে ওঠে। এবং সবাই অনুধাবন করতে পারে।

AER :- মিটিং এর মাধ্যমে যে বিষয়টা বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হলো এই ভাবে তারা কখনোই ভেবে দেখেনি। তাদের ধারনা এই মিটিং না হলে তারা মহিলাদের কষ্ট টা জানতেই পারতো না। ৩টা
গ্রুপের সবাই সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহন করে যে, তারা এখন থেকে বাড়ির কাজে মহিলাদের সহযোগীতা করবে।

তারা সেই সাথে DHARA এবং GFC এর নিকট কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে।

Masculinity group SALT.

When we do Masculinity Group SALT in the Burigoalini community, we divide into 3 groups based on age. We hold separate meetings in each group.
★ First group:- 15 to 25 years.
★ Second group:- 25 to 40 years.
★ Third:- A group of 40 and above.
1/2 people in each group had Masculinity SALT There were also people whose reflections had changed. Which is why the discussion was beautiful.And their change in front of everyone was not a sample or example but a model. They In every group, men feel the pain of women in the house. (There, both men and women do the same work, so we did not discuss equal rights.)

The women there wake up in the morning, finish all the housework, make everyone breakfast, and then go to work as day laborers. The men and women come home from work together, and the men are asleep.And the woman cooks again, feeds the domestic animals and feeds everyone in the house, and the man and woman go together to catch fish/fish fry in the river. After catching fish, the men take a rest, some chat in the shop.But women still work, cooking, cleaning the house, etc. The issue of men having rest and women not having rest is clearly evident. And everyone can understand it.

AER:- They never thought about the issue that was discussed in detail through the meeting. They felt that if it were not for this meeting, they would not have known the suffering of women. All the 3 groups decided that from now on, they would help women with household chores.

They also expressed their gratitude to DHARA and GFC.
