Seema Begum carries little brother Rafiqul, while Marshida looks on...sibling care in the village of Lormorgorhati in Kamrup...a sultry afternoon where we first play with the kids till the adults in the community gather...what was special...the encouraging male participation and involvement, the fact that male members in a minority community speak openly about family planning and family spacing...where they nudge their woman folk to open up and speak...a community that identifies their own task for the next few weeks...a village and a community that will forge ahead to realise their dreams and aspirations...

In Lormagorhati, a remote village of Kamrup, the youth and ladies in the community have realised that the sanitary latrines being provided to every home in the village are either made of sub-standard materials or that households are being left out. Based on a Self Assessment done by the community earlier, proper sanitation was an issue that they felt they were lagging behind on, so it became a part of their action plan.
