About Me:
I am currently working as a Faiths Act Fellow of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation and I'm placed at Deepalaya. Our mandate is to help achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals particularly eliminating Maternal mortality and Malaria through interfaith action.

Educational degrees include a Masters in Human Rights and Duties Education and a graduate degree in Psychology from JMI University. Gender Studies, one of my subsidiary subjects is what instigated and instilled the concern and commitment to work for human rights, and I have been a self-proclaimed activist ever since!

It was a privilege to be selected as one of the three students from India to participate in the Summer School “Muslims in the West” held at the University of Erfurt in August 2010 and received an award there for our presentation “Living Diaspora: Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovina”.
As an intern with Swechha (We for Change),we made a movie on farmers’ protest against land acquisition and also participated in the Right to Education campaign. I have also interned in Jamghat, a shelter home for disadvantaged children.
My dream:
To Will, to dare, to reach beyond I had ever imagined...
To learn, love and laugh, to live with no regrets or missed opportunities. And, to make the most of this blessing called Life.
