Profile Information

Name
Aurelie
About Me:
I am a public health student looking to learn more about local responses and trying to practise empowerment tools and particpative approaches.
My dream:
My dream is that more and more people become convinced of the efficiency, sustainability, responsiveness and appropiateness of participative approaches using SALT as a framework. And that this approach is internalised and become natural to members of communities, NGOs, International Organisations, Governments, etc. in their day to day life.
My concern:
To fulfil my dream we will have to completely change our way of designing and evaluating projects, policies and programmes. Replacing individuals/communities, their hopes and their needs at the core of our action, regardless of our preconceived ideas, is the next challenge.
What do I want to do to spread Community Life Competence?
Facilitate Community Life Competence in my community, I want to share my experience on my blog in Ning
