I have been working with HIV programme since 1998 in a hospital based working in the community. From 2003 I worked with The salvation Army HIV/AIDS programmes which is implemented in the Facilitation Process where I started learning SALT and HCD process. I get involved in Regional(North East India) and National level in the Facilitation process visitings various local community as a Facilitator.I also worked with the HIV Positive Network as a Programme Manager. For me as have experienced and a Facilitator I find AIDS competence process as the best tool to work and implement HIV responds activity in the community. AIDS competence process is not only effective for HIV work but also for other social issues in the community.
My dream:
Care Community and Change happen in the life of the people. The Community themselves implementing even funded programmes for HIV/AIDS. NGOS to only support in technical process. Which is the real process of Sustainable programme in the community even without external support.
I'm proud of:
The AIDS competence process which have a positive impact and picture in Mizoram, showint the posibility of sustainable programme is there with the capacity od the community.
