ActforGoa invited our organization Avani to present SALT in Goa. Vanita and I attended the event which had participants from all over Goa to discuss how to rebuild Goa. I felt like writing this because in a very short time I got to learn a lot from new people. In the event I got to meet a lot of new people and hear their experiences. There are difficulties while working, but I got to learn once again how to overcome those difficulties and move forward. I realized the strength that exists in people. One thing I liked the most was that facilitators gave people a piece of paper and wrote down what we were doing and put it on the wall in front of them so that everyone could see it. I liked this method a lot because the question was the same but the answers were coming in different ways and there was a lot to learn from that too. Also, I had a little language problem but some of the colleagues helped us with translation so I was able to learn I went to the front to talk about the community-led approach SALT approach and did a small activity so get everyone's attention. I told everyone present that we have been talking about how to do community led since morning but Avani has the answer because when I said that we work on that topic ourselves, everyone listened to me wholeheartedly. I explained the SALT and CLCP changes everyone. My village and work not only changed but i also changed. Many of the people present liked the concept of SALT and CLCP because after the program, many people came to meet me and asked about SALT and also said that we would like to learn this. Vanita and I had taken some posters of the work done regarding community led to the place and put them there. Seeing all this, I felt very emotional about salt. I am happy that I was able to connect with new people. I would like to thank Joanna Madam and Marisia Madam for the opportunity to participate in this program
